Why do you love Mumbai? Is it the people, your friends or is it the city life?
Mumbai appears on 13th on the list of 15 best cities worldwide, certainly for a reason. Multiple reasons. Here are a few.
1. Marine Drive
One visit to Marine Drive can soothe your body, soul, and mind like never before. The 3.6 kilometers long pathway in South Mumbai is one of the best places in Mumbai to watch the sunrise and sunset. After the city light glows up at night, you can enjoy the amazing view of Queen’s Necklace.
Marine Drive is certainly a tourist attraction in Mumbai. It is named so because of the C-shaped view after the sunset. Sonapur is the actual name of the place. It is a heritage site in Mumbai because of its old architectural designs from the 19th and 20th centuries.
2. Sporting Spirit
In fact, Mumbai is one of the cities where the sporting spirit and the intense and ardent love for sports never dies. You will find people who cheer on you forever.
3. Vada Pav
Need I say more? Some Pav with deep-fried potato patty is just what you need, sometimes. It’s the mother of all street food. *mouth waters*
4. Mumbai locals.
The auto drivers are always ready to take you to your destination without hesitating to switch on the meter. And then there are the local trains that are seldom late. The trains carry 7.2 million passengers every day.
Mumbai sways to the music with its terrific bars and pubs, and nightlife hubs! After working through the whole day and the entire week, people relax and enjoy their time in great bars and pubs between music and beverages. There are well-known restaurants and bars on almost every street in Mumbai.
If you come to Mumbai, you do not have to stress about your weekend fun!
6. Colors and Diversity
The intensity and diversity of the colors can be seen in every nook and corner of Mumbai. Soothing to the eye, indeed.
7. Fashion comes cheap as well.
What if I told you that you could buy a gorgeous outfit for less than Rs. 300. No, I’m not kidding. The infamous Fashion Street, Hill Road, Colaba Causeway, Linking Road, Manish Market, and Chor Bazaar are the places to visit if you want to get some shopping done at an affordable price. At first, they will tell you a good price, but you can buy that thing at half the said price after negotiation.
8. Mumbaikars have an enormous sweet tooth!
With Theobroma, Oven Fresh, Candies, and Indigo, if Mumbai isn’t bliss for all the sugar-rush lovers, I don’t know what is!
9. Sanjay Gandhi National Park
Popular attractions here are the 2,400 years old Kanheri Caves sculpted out of the rocky cliffs, the lion and tiger safari, boating at the lake, and the toy train ride.
Mumbai is the only city globally to have a fully functioning national park with freely roaming tigers and other carnivores within city limits.
You will have to see their work to know how insanely efficient they are. Always on time at delivering the lunch boxes from the houses of people to their destination. The people residing in Mumbai are extremely hard-working, and most of the people are job-oriented.
So, since they do not get enough time for themselves and their family, these dabbawalas help them in their crisis when they do not have to take care of their food and lunch in their home and offices.
Yes, Mumbai is an absolute package of sugar, spice, and everything nice.
