You must be looking for Christmas decoration inspiration to decorate the outside of your home. And as I said, the biggest celebration of our holiday season is Christmas. That’s why you need to know what DIY outdoor Christmas decorations inspiration you can use to make a severe Christmas celebration this holiday season.

Of course, there are many best ways in front of us by which you can make an exquisite Christmas outdoor decoration. For example, you may want to know the most beautiful way to hang Christmas lights. Moreover, you are waiting for a collection of glittering tabletop plants, winter greenery, and glittering Christmas trees.

So let’s take a quick look at the DIY outdoor Christmas decorations that make our home more festive.

1. DIY Pallet Christmas Tree

Suppose you live where you can’t get a Christmas tree. By doing this, you will not think your Christmas Eve will go bad because we have pallet Christmas tree options as DIY outdoor Christmas decorations to make your Christmas brighter.

First of all, these pallet Christmas trees are extremely popular. The main reason is that these take minimal space and are very budget-friendly, and you have a great fun experience while making them. Moreover, you can give the look, shape, and color of your choice with this pallet Christmas tree.

Think about it; once we use Christmas trees, we can’t use them again, that is, next year’s Christmas. In short, Christmas trees are not recyclable at all. For that reason, pallet Christmas trees become a unique element for you. You can use these trees to brighten up the Christmas season as many years as you like as DIY outdoor Christmas decorations.

So to make this pallet Christmas tree, first, you need to find any unfinished board, scrap wood, or panels in your house. Then with a handsaw, you will cut the runners on the side. Then you turn this panel over and cut out the wood on the back. Then take some screws and mark them in the middle.

Now you will cut the shape of a Christmas tree with a hand saw as. If you want to make a proper Christmas tree with a little more height than this pal, then you can give that height according to the video shown above. Well, your DIY outdoor Christmas decoration is most easily done with a pallet Christmas tree.

2. DIY Giant Christmas Ornaments

Of course, the main thing in any Christmas decoration is its ornaments. Since we’re talking about DIY outdoor Christmas decorations here, how can we leave the giant Christmas ornaments? These giant ornaments double our garden decor and quadruple the fun.

I’ve been particularly obsessed with DIY outdoor Christmas decorations since the very beginning. Because these giant Christmas ornaments give me a funky Christmas feeling. I seriously love these red glass ball ornaments hanging on various trees.

But today, we will not make any glass balls to hang on the tree. Today we will make large Christmas ornaments you can decorate in front of your front door or in the garden as beautiful DIY outdoor Christmas decorations. Trust me, you won’t waste much time making these.

First, you can use large balls from the exercise and playground to make these giant Christmas ornaments. Also, grab some pretty colorful ribbons to hang those balls. However, as a first step, we will paint the balls with a coat of primer. When the coat of primer on the ball is completely dry, use any color spray paint you like to paint these Christmas ornaments.

Anyway, I’m using both red and green Christmas colors here. Now you will paint this ball bright green and red. The ball will look like a decorated Christmas ornament when it dries and hardens. Now it’s time to swing these balls. With the help of ribbons and wires, you can decorate them nicely on your front door as DIY outdoor Christmas decorations.

3. DIY Pine Cones Wreath

Pine cones wreath, which increases the beauty of Christmas tenfold. To be honest, everyone will be in awe when you have this wreath on your front door on Christmas Eve. I would say that a DIY pine wreath is a terrific Christmas decorating idea for those who love to do something artistic.

These DIY outdoor Christmas decorations made of dried pine cones can instantly fill your home with light and brightness. Here I tell you there are two shapes you can make this pine cones wreath. Both are very beautiful in shape, one is square, and the other is round. These square wreaths or round wreaths are amazing and unique as outdoor decorations.

So to make these pine cones garland as DIY outdoor Christmas decorations, you first need to collect some dry pine cones. We will soak the pine cones in vinegar water for a while. Then after washing them well, we will start our work. Now, if you want a square, then take a square ring, and if you want a round one, we will start coloring it with a round-shaped wooden ring.

We will put some dry twigs on top of the round ring and try to get the same color we will color the round ring. Basically, we may need brown, black and some grey color for that. After coloring it, we’ll bunch up the dry stems one by one.

Branch each and tie them well with a rope. Here a total of 15 bundles are made for a 12-inch round ring. When all our bundles are done, we will place these bundles on top of the circular colored hoop. As shown in the video above, we will tie all the bundles on top of the hoop one by one. We will top all these bundles as Christmas decorations with a hot glue gun.

As a result of which, these bundles will fit well with the round hoop. After covering the well on all sides with a glue gun, we will start to open the ropes one by one after drying. You will see that our whole round hoop is covered with twigs very nicely. Now it’s time to plant a pine cone.

But before that, if you have less time for Christmas decorations, you can place pine cones in their own shape on top of this hoop. But if you have time and want to show your creativity, make flowers out of these pine cones. Then you will paint those pine cone flowers well as DIY outdoor Christmas decorations.

In the next step, we will need some foliage. You get something of your choice that adds 10 times to the wreath’s beauty. Now we will make some gold color with the sponge to enhance the beauty of the leaves. Then place them in place with a hot glue gun like in the video above.

As a Christmas decor, you will arrange the pine cone flowers beautifully on this round hoop. When everything is dry, your pine cones wreath as DIY outdoor Christmas decorations will look complete. As a Christmas element of extreme and unique beauty, it will make outdoor decorations impressive when you put them on your front door.

4. DIY Christmas Candy Canes

It is impossible to think of Christmas without some candy cane. Because the most important part of Christmas decoration is candy cane decoration. No matter how you decorate the outside, it remains incomplete without a candy cane. So without further delay, let’s make our all favorite candy cane as DIY outdoor Christmas decorations.

So today, I will tell you to use toilet rolls around the house to make candy cane as a DIY outdoor Christmas decoration. After running out of toilet paper, these neglected toilet rolls will be of most use to us today. So first, we will start by cutting and assembling the toilet rolls exactly like in the video shown above, according to DIY outdoor Christmas decorations.

You use a stapler to join; by staple, we can easily make a long stick like a candy cane. We can make this candy cane very easily and very quickly. Anyway, once we have made our long stick as a DIY outdoor Christmas decoration, we will start making the candy cane head. And to make it, you remove the paper that is on the box of your online parcel.

Now take a lot of paper and try to roll it long by hand. Although it won’t quite shape as per the Christmas decor, we’ll try it and then start gluing it together with masking tape. When we can get it roughly into the shape of a bent candy ear head, we’ll insert it into the stick we made earlier as per DIY outdoor Christmas decorations.

Now we will apply masking tape again on the head with the stick of the shape made of this whole candy cane. Then we’ll wrap it well with crepe paper to make it tighter. Next, we will use red ribbon to give the candy cane its proper color. Hot glue the ribbon to the top of the candy cane, as shown in the video above.

Well, now we have ready candy canes as DIY outdoor Christmas decorations. Now you can make as many candies as you want to decorate your Christmas tree. If you want, you can decorate some candy canes outside the front door of your house.

5. Outdoor lighted Christmas Decorations

Let’s creates the Christmas lights shine even brighter. That’s why we will make lighted Christmas balls as DIY outdoor Christmas decorations. In short, your garden will be a different kind of surprise when these Christmas balls of lights decorate your garden decoration.

We cannot think of Christmas without these lighted balls around. And that’s why I’ve brought you a super low-cost and time-saving way to make lighted Christmas balls as DIY outdoor Christmas decorations. And to make these balls first, we need chicken wire.

And with this, our base material will be a metal or thick aluminum wire. At the same time, we will use thin metal wire of aluminum as our rope. After that, we will cut the thick metal aluminum wires as a circle and connect them with thin metal wires. If we want to bring it perfectly into the shape of the ball, we need to cut 6-7 pieces of metal wire in a round shape, as shown in the video above.

When all of them are cut, we will continue to connect them with thin metal wire at a ninety-degree angle. I want to get the shape of the globe here, so you have to properly place the metal wires at a ninety-degree angle according to the shape of the globe.

Chicken wires are most useful when your metal wire comes full circle as DIY outdoor Christmas decorations. We will keep adding chicken wires to the top to strengthen this round ball. When the chicken wire is attached to the whole ball, you will see it is quite strong as an outdoor lighted Christmas decoration.

Next, it will be our turn to decorate it. As I love Christmas very much and Christmas is a festive season, I will decorate this ball with fairy lights. You will take many fairy lights and place them all over the ball. Secure the remaining ends with masking tape.

The giant Christmas ball is ready for our outdoor lighted Christmas decoration. If you want, you can make many small and big balls that can be wrapped with fairy lights and will light up the whole outdoor garden decoration. Or you can hang these balls right above your front door as a DIY outdoor Christmas decoration.

6. Front Porch Happy Decorating DIY

When we’re decorating every corner of your home, how can we leave out the front porch? I’m here today to give you some cute front porch happy decoration ideas like DIY outdoor Christmas decorations. Christmas evening already brings us a message of joy, and this front porch decoration will make you feel even more cheerful.

So let’s do Christmas cheer by making the first front porch decoration. To make it, first, you need to get a plastic planter. Then you can paint it any color with spray paint, but gold or silver will look better as a Christmas color. However, here we will make it silver color. Of course, remember that we will color both inside and outside.

After the paint dries well, we will make a hole in the middle of the back of the plastic planter through a drill machine. Now we will hang the Christmas glittery red balls through the rope through the hole. Jingle bells are a front porch decoration for DIY outdoor Christmas decorations.

You take a lantern to make the next front porch decoration to cheer Christmas. Now fill the empty lantern with Christmas ornaments, from small balls to any ornaments. You can add fairy lights inside if you want; although optional, I’d say you’ll add the light to look nicer.

To make the next front porch decoration, put a few mason jars in an empty wooden basket. Now keep this method by placing the basket on top of the basket. Put foam on top of the small basket, green foam, so it looks like grass. Then we will surround this whole basket well with Garland.

Now you keep filling the Christmas decorations like small Santa Claus shoes in that basket one by one. You can put a light string light on the whole basket if you want. By doing this, the whole decoration of the DIY outdoor Christmas decoration will become a little brighter.

Then it is time to arrange all these things on the front porch. You can hang these bells near a Christmas tree. Or you can place these bells on your door wreath as an outdoor Christmas decoration.

Then you place the wooden basket in front of the front porch next to which you place the lanterns. Wait until evening, turn on all the lights, and your Christmas decorating ideas are ready.

7. DIY Giant Peppermint Lollypop and Cotton Candy

For those who have a sweet tooth, I know how much the love of sweets is appreciated. And when Christmas comes around, it automatically creates another excuse for us sweet tooths to indulge in sweets. Whether you call peppermint giant lollypops or cotton candy, they are delicious to eat.

But today, we will not eat any sweets but decorate the sweets outside the house as DIY outdoor Christmas decorations. I can say in one word as a sweet tooth it’s hard to control the cravings, but these are not food items at all these are things to double the beauty outside your home.

So first, we will proceed to make peppermint lollipops as Christmas decorations. So to make it, first, you need to take a polystyrene disc. And in between the bigger ones, you can get a 25 cm diameter, and if you want smaller discs, you can get a 20 cm diameter. You can take the disc to make as many peppermint lollipops as you want.

Now we will draw a point in the middle of these discs and start drawing the curved pattern above the lollypop. To make the curved patterns more accurate and perfect, try to pull the spots with a round object. When all the spots are drawn, I will start painting the red and white colors on the lollipop.

For DIY Christmas outdoor decorations, we will put red glitter in red color and white glitter in white color. After that, you can take any stick and make a lollipop stand. You can make a bow with the red ribbon at the bottom of the lollipop if you want. Or you can take 1-2 lollipops and tie them nicely to decorate.

Now we don’t need many things to make cotton candy. We have a soft toy in everyone’s home. If you have any old soft toys at home, like teddy bears, we can make cotton candy with the cotton inside. This time you will take paper straws to make a cotton candy stick.

Here we tell you that we need to color the cotton before making cotton candy. But in this case, we can’t use spray paint or any other color, but if you have blush, all your problems will be solved very soon. You will continue to gently color the cotton candy with your light pink blush with a makeup brush.

According to Christmas decoration ideas, you will use your paper straw to hot glue the cotton candy. Fix it well with glue all around. Also, if you want to give your cotton candy a more festive look and make it cute, sprinkle some pink glitter over it.

We made many DIY outdoor Christmas decorations in very little time and with some old things we used. Now you can place all these things in the place you like and easily decorate your home and outside the home.
