Anamika Yaduvanshi is a Life Coach who helps people achieve their life goals and fulfill their dreams. With the help of interactive sessions, she has helped people improve their relationships with their parents, partners, and others.
While talking to Icy Tales, Anamika Yaduvanshi opened up about the process of Life Coaching, her journey, and the importance of being self-motivated.
“We are looking for answers in the wrong places” – Anamika Yaduvanshi
Anamika Yaduvanshi believes that in India, we seek answers from different people and places, such as religious institutions and horoscopes. Although she believes that Astrology is a Science, she affirms that people tend to get too much dependent on it. They look for answers through astrology and ultimately get confused about how things should be.
“When we depend on Astrology too much, we do not get the needed solutions. My story behind life coaching was that I was looking for the real answers. Life Coaching is very technical, psychological, and scientific and is a shortcut system for achieving your goals. Life Coaching makes a human very independent.”
Anamika Yaduvanshi practices numerology but believes that Life Coaching is the solution to realistically achieving goals. Returning to her roots, she completed her Life Coaching Studies and joined the International Coaching Federation. She opted to do this mainly because she wanted to find the real answers to specific problems in life. She is now an ICF Certified Life Coach in India who has helped many people with her interactive sessions.
“I am on a mission to help 1 Lakh People get better in life” – Anamika Yaduvanshi
Anamika Yaduvanshi aims to help 1 Lakh people improve their lives, positively approach problems, and generally help them achieve their goals. To date, she has already helped over 20,000 people as a part of her mission.
She took the prime example of Student life, where she helps students focus on their goals and work harder towards achieving their dreams. She highlighted that Social Media had been a source of help for those students who cannot afford fees or get permission from their parents. She also stated that many students watch her YouTube videos, and she guides them on the right path in life.
“I make videos based on requests people give me through social media. Some common issues were children not knowing how to communicate with parents, relationship issues, and focus-related problems.”
With her clients, she does 1:1 sessions, and she individually assesses them and their goals. She analyses both long-term and short-term goals. “Sometimes people make goals, but when it comes to working on it, they get overwhelmed,” she says. For such people, she motivates them through her motivational sessions.
Anamika Yaduvanshi used to get a great response worldwide for tarot people, and NRIs connected with her through Skype. This was a turning point for her as she realized how dependent people were on horoscopes. Although she was getting very well paid, she didn’t get the inner satisfaction of giving her clients the right solutions.
“Since it is impossible to do a 1:1 session with everyone, people can access my videos on YouTube and Instagram. I don’t make plans with my clients; we make plans together to achieve goals. Through my workshops, I try to help as many people as possible. I pray that India works more on improving focus and getting better on themselves so that they can attract better things in their life.”
“It is essential to be Self-Motivated” – Anamika Yaduvanshi
Anamika Yaduvanshi compared self-motivation to one’s body. “Wiping off the dust from one’s body is mere outer cleaning, but if one wants to clean his body on the inside, he should stay hydrated, as eventually, it is the health of the inner body that shows on the outer appearance.”
She believes that self-motivation and outside motivation goes in hand in hand with each other, as when one doesn’t receive encouragement, appreciation, and reason to be motivated, self-motivation dies.
“Outside Motivation dies too easily. It is important to maintain a balance between inside and outside motivation frequently to keep self-motivation alive.”
“Confidence comes only when you work on your skill” – Anamika Yaduvanshi
Anamika Yaduvanshi feels that people tend to have public fear before getting on stage. However, she says public fear will fade away very soon if one has thoroughly worked on a skill. She added that when we see a rich person, we often call them egoistic because that person is confident about his wealth.
She urges people to have a command over their skills and update that skill regularly to get confident. By doing this, she believes confidence will automatically pave its way into your life.
“If you haven’t worked on your skill and want to be confident, that is impossible. Update your skills regularly by taking new courses, reading books, and researching. Initially, you will not be confident, but when you work on yourself, you can take it further, and then there’s no turning back.”
“In Life Coaching, we work on all obstacles and deal with them, one by one” – Anamika Yaduvanshi
When asked about the process of Life Coaching, Anamika Yaduvanshi said that it is a very logical and real thing. She gave an example; when an exam is in 6 months, only if one covers the entire syllabus 5 or 6 times will there be an assurance that the exam can be cracked.
She stated that in life coaching, she looks at all possibilities of a particular goal and analyses the actions required for those goals. It is further deconstructed into monthly, weekly, and daily goals, and they are worked upon, is what she said.
“These goals are assessed, and weekly progress is noted where coaches figure out how likely it is to achieve the goal. We also work on distractions and deviations because if we don’t, it is like filling a water tank with holes.”
When asked what happens when goals are not achieved on time, she analyses the possible reason behind it. She has also encountered times when she found out that some of her clients made unreal goals to show to somebody.
“We ensure we don’t leave any stone unturned in achieving the goal. We cannot do things overnight, so we divide the actions accordingly. If one cannot meet his daily goal, there is a mindset issue and work on it. The pressure on people sometimes leads to making unreal goals, but we work on it and ultimately help them achieve their goals.”
“A lot of things will happen in life, but you have a find a solution” – Anamika Yaduvanshi
Anamika Yaduvanshi says we must go through similar emotions and processes as humans. She affirms that humans look for happiness in different places, making us unique.
“All of us want love, happiness, and peace; we look for it commonly. Where we are looking for happiness is different for all of us. I, too, have my share of low and bad times when I’m just unable to do work. But that is life, and you have to deal with it.”
The life coach believes that sometimes things get tough, and she finds it hard to keep herself organized, but at the end of the day, she pushes herself to keep going because that is how life is. “Whenever I am clueless about dealing with specific problems, I sleep over them. This way, I avoid overthinking and get answers to my problems the following day.”
“It’s not possible to have a positive approach always” – Anamika Yaduvanshi
Anamika Yaduvanshi says that when one cannot have a positive approach towards a particular situation, they must at least come to an approach where there is a state of acceptance. She stated that people must accept reality and look for solutions.
The coach highlighted that accepting and acknowledging the situation is essential when facing problems. She feels that many people cannot practice this as they lack practical thinking. She added that another critical attitude is to think about what one can do to solve the problem.
She firmly believes that blaming and sulking over problems will not sort the issue. Thinking about the past and regretting that things could have been better is not going to help,
“It doesn’t give you solutions. It gives only frustrations. First of all, we need to accept that there is a bad situation, and it can get worse. Acceptance and Acknowledgement are critical. Instead of complaining, blaming, and criticizing, you must think about what best you can do to solve the problem.”
Anamika Yaduvanshi also has hosted motivational and 1:1 sessions in the Corporate Field, Schools, and Universities. She aims to help more people and make India a country where dreaming big and achieving goals is appreciated.
