Poetry: The We

We

THE WE

If heart thought,

Love would be,

Enemosity would face drought,

The colors we’d see!

If the heart could feel,

Pride would die,

Ego would melt,

Tears would cry.

If heart believed,

Everyone would soar,

Wonders we’d have achieved,

Hopeless no more.

With the mind ruling,

Heart concealed,

We all losing,

The ‘WE’ we yield.

With the mind ruling,

Heart forgot,

Humanity fooling,

Making us rot.

For one instant,

Let heart empower,

Make mind distant,

Watch how happiness shower!
