Student Life- the Greatest Teacher

0

Student life teaches us so many lessons, lessons that guide us through the rest of our lives. We may face many ups and downs in our life- but student life gives us an answer to every problem.

Here are a few valuable lessons that student life has taught us.

1. You cannot please everyone

First of all, you are not born to please others. It is very important to protect your self-esteem while also being nice to everyone. You realize that some things won’t happen even you put in your best efforts.

Everyone does not think the way you do, and that’s why some things that seem correct and proper to you might seem improper to someones else. Conflicts of opinion may arise, and you might not be able to convince people all the time. This might happen at any time in our life, and school life teaches us to accept these differences and respect each other regardless of everything else.

2. Your first crush

This is the most exciting part of student life. New emotions towards new people arise during your student life. It might be a temporary feeling, but all of us experience it. And who knows, you might even continue with it and make it a stronger and permanent bond.

3. Real friends

You build friendships with so many students while you grow up. Starting with kindergarten to high school or graduation, you come across different people with different tastes and mannerisms. But as you grow up, you realize who your real friends are. A friend praises the good in you.  But only a true friend points out your mistakes and prevents you from doing them. You make your friends for a lifetime during your student life.

4. Importance of family

You realize that your family is the most important part of your life. The moral support your family can provide cannot be provided by anyone else. You realize that only your family members remain the same in all circumstances and will never leave your side. Your family will always be there to rejoice with you in your success and mourn with you at times of pain. Family showers you with praises when you need them.

5. Passion

Your friends, family, and relatives continually ask you about your aim in life? It might annoy you the first time, but you need to answer the most important issue. During your student life, you discover your passion, what your interests are, and what your goal in life is. Your career plans start at this age and ultimately decide your entire life. Thus, it is very important to think and decide what you want to do in your life and which path you will choose.

Do consider suggestions from family and friends, but don’t follow them blindly. They might suggest you become an engineer or a doctor, but you might be interested in becoming a lawyer. If that’s the case, then go for your passion. Don’t be afraid to express your views to your family. Create a belief in them that you are going to be a good lawyer. Don’t think about what others might think. Because, in the end, it is you who is going to live your life.
