Truth is, everybody is going to hurt you; you just gotta find the ones who worth suffering for.

Robert Nesta Marley, aka Bob Marley, had always been like this. You might know him as the man who always had a smile on his face. The quote mentioned above talks about a bitter reality of life, and ironically it connects you to those who are truly bound to you.

Life is one big road with lots of signs. So when you are riding through the ruts, don’t complicate your mind. Flee from hate, mischief, and jealousy. Don’t bury your thoughts; put your vision into reality. Wake up and live!

The record label Tuff Gong was set up by Bob Marley. It was named after his self-made nickname. This record label is now under the possession of the largest audio recording facilities in the Caribbean.

He has always lived life on a feather.

One good thing about music, when it hits you, you feel no pain.

A soulful singer whose music has poured truth into the hearts of his fans.

Music was his devotion, his dedication, and not a mere hobby. He had an immensely talented voice and lyrical ability. His song “No Woman, No Cry” is sung as a lullaby to babies all over the world today.

The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires but in his integrity and ability to affect those around him positively.

Bob died of cancer on May 11, 1981. He was only thirty-six years old. In one day, 40,000 people filed past his coffin as his body lay in state in Jamaica’s National Arena. And that’s just the number of people who got inside.

He never had a problem with money after he got popular. However, he never really cared about it. He was known for donating every penny he earned from his records.

Open your eyes, look within. Are you satisfied with the life you’re living?

When Bob was twenty-one, he lived in Delaware for seven months. He worked the night shifts at a Chrysler plant (his songNight Shift” is based on those experiences) and drove a forklift in a factory. Despite working in such varied fields, he was never satisfied. The only thing that calmed him was MUSIC. He was also a strong supporter of legalizing marijuana.

None but ourselves can free our minds.

Bob Marley was a devout Rastafarian.  He had an exceptional talent for reading hands since he was only four years of age. Yet, he never tried to push his thoughts over anyone. His simple motto was to live his life on his own terms, and his entire life was a mirror image of his free mind.

On 6th February, the world celebrated his 70th birthday.

The late great Jamaican reggae superstar had an effortless beauty about him. His enviable dreads fell just so; his high-wattage smile gleamed; his taut, athletic frame appeared full of soul. A new skincare line has been launched to honor this rockstar’s legacy.
