Being the states’ prime grape growers, he was the first one to plant Sangiovese in his Sagmor vineyard. The McPherson Cellars converted the 1930s era Coca Cola bottling plant into their winery.

The owners, Pat and Trellise Brennan fell in love with wine in California when they tasted the renowned 1973 Stag’s Leap Cabinet and 1974 Mondavi Cabinet. In 1997, the Brennans purchased the historic land in Comanche along with thirty-three acres of land attached to it.

In the year 2001, they started the Brennan vineyards, and in the year 2002, they planted the vineyard. The Brennan vineyards now span across thirty-seven acres of land in Comanche county. They produce world-class wines by combining the wine grapes with distinct fruits transported from vineyards in West Texas.

6. Pedernales Cellar

9. William Chris Vineyards
