Vampires donโt exist; they are myths created for entertainment. And before you go through my list, I want to confess that I am not a big fan of T.V. serial dramas. But yes, I love to watch horror serials, and thus I have just shared a list of vampire T.V. series that most of us love to watch, or some of you might watch them after reading this.

1. The Vampire Diaries (2009-Present)
The Vampire Diaries (2009-Present) is a horror series about a teenage girl, Elena Gilbert, who loves Stefan Salvatore. But their relationship becomes complicated when Stefanโs older brother (who was turned into a vampire against his will) returns for revenge.
It has a teen plot and a love triangle but doesnโt compare it with Twilight because it is more violent and darker, and it also provides human beings a chance to defend themselves and fight back. Season 7 is set to be released on 8 October this year.
2. Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-2003)
Buffy The Vampire Slayer (1997-2003) was a horror series. Every episode was a mixture of drama, suspense, and a sense of humor. Buffy was so scary and used to enter at unexpected moments, making viewers hide behind the sofa.
3. Penny Dreadful (2014-Present)
Penny Dreadful (2014-Present) is a frightening psychological series that brings various terrifying scenes and scariest characters (taken from various classical horror literature). Though it brings highly predictable episodes, viewers still love it because of its terrifying scenes.
4. Demons (2009)
Demons (2009), created by Julian Murphy and Johnny Capps,ย is a British vampire horror series. The story is about a teenager, Luke Rutherford, who discoversย that he is a great-grandson of a vampire hunter Rupert Galvin. And also learns that it is his destiny to fight with the demons to save the world.
5. True Blood (2008-2014)
True Blood (2008-2014) is a series about a telepathic fairy waitress Sookie Stackhouse who meets a vampire named Bill Compton and discovers the new supernatural world around her. And after Billโs death, she returns to her everyday life dealing with the problem of drug addiction, discrimination, inequality, etc.
6. The Originals (2013-Present)
The Originals (2013-Present) is about vampires who want to dominate the people who have done them wrong and come back to power in the city they built.
7. The Death Valley (2011)
The Death Valley (2011) is a horror-comedy series that keeps a balance between humor and horror. It is an extraordinarily fun series with stupid cops, dangerous vampires, disgusting zombies, and insane werewolves. Maybe you donโt like comedy shows, but this one will surely make you laugh.
8. Moonlight (2007-2008)
Moonlight (2007-2008) is a romantic series about Mick St. John, who was turned into a Vampire (fifty years ago). Now he is working as a private investigator to help mortals with his supernatural powers and doesnโt harm women, children, and innocent people. And though he loves Beth Turner, an internet reporter, he doesnโt want to be in a relationship with her (because he doesnโt want to harm her).
9. Sanctuary (2008-2011)
Sanctuary (2008-2011), created by Damian Kindler, is a Canadian Science fiction series. It was first released on the Internet as a webisode. After its huge success and popularity, it was broadcast as T.V. series. It is about a 158-year-old Scientist named Helen Magnus. She has a team of experts who find abnormal people with extraordinary powers to learn from them.
10. Dark Shadows (1966-1971)
Dark Shadows (1966-1971) is an American horror series featuring not only artificial monsters but also ghosts, werewolves, witches, zombies, and so on. It was a one-of-a-kind series; as you can see, this was also the oldest vampire series on this list.
