Are you looking for a new vacation destination? Then you should definitely consider Australia. This vast country/continent provides some of the most beautiful sceneries and exciting adventures. And, against popular belief, not all creatures are trying to kill you. We cannot deny the fact that Australia is the home of some of the most dangerous animals, but their life purpose is not to harm you. As long as you are cautious and follow a few simple rules, you should have a fantastic vacation there. Below, you will find some of the most compelling reasons to put Australia on your bucket list.

The Great Barrier Reef

Did you know that the Great Barrier Reef is larger than the UK, the Netherlands, and Switzerland combined? It is the world’s largest living organism. Plus, in our opinion, it stands alone as a reason to visit Australia. Sure, thanks to environmental issues, some of it started to die, but that should only convince you more to go and see it. The vivid colors and fish that live in the Great Barrier Reef is an unforgettable experience. Nothing compares to going scuba diving or snorkeling among what we can call a mosaic of living colors. Lots of people do it every year, and every single one of them cannot find anything else to compare it with.

You may have seen photos of Uluru online. It is one of nature’s most magnificent structures. In fact, Uluru is the largest monolith in the world, and it is 600 million years old. You do not have to climb it to admire its beauty. Plus, you can take some of the most stunning pictures to show your friends. It is definitely worth the trip.

Whitsunday Islands

Have you ever been on a beach with sand so white that you can actually mistake it for something else? The Whitehaven Beach on Whitsunday Islands is precisely that. The sand is so white that some people joke about cleaning their jewelry with it. Just try to imagine the scenery. The incredibly white sand, the perfect blue water, and some vegetation create the most stunning views. I don’t know about you but going for a swim in that scenery is an experience in itself. You should definitely check it out.

The wildlife

Contrary to popular belief, you will not come across kangaroos and koala bears everywhere you go. They do not live on the side of every road. However, that is a good thing because kangaroos are not the friendliest creatures that roam the earth. In fact, they can get pretty violent. Even so, Australia’s wildlife is spectacular. Not only that you can spot animals that you will not see anywhere else in the world, but the diversity will astonish you. Even if you do not get to go on a Safari, cities such as Sydney have amazing zoos.

Fraser Island

Fraser Island is the world’s largest sand island. It is hard to believe that everything around you there is ‘built’ on sand, but that is true. The best thing to experience here is the 4X4 car rides. After all, there are not many places in the world that have a sand highway, now are they?

The 5 reasons above do not even start to cover all the beauties that Australia has to offer. The list is long from here to Sunday. Even so, you should discover some things on your own. Keep in mind that you need a travel document to get to Australia. It can be an eVisitor visa, an Electronic Travel Authorization, or even a standard visa. Whichever you need, you should do your homework. The first two are easier to get. Other than that, make sure to have fun and experience as many things as possible in Australia. Or, even try out online casinos in Australia. It will be a memorable vacation.
