Epic battlefields are rife within the pages of Clash of the Titans, as mythology bursts with full-blown gods, monsters, and mortals battling to dominate power, honor, and survive. However, between its pages lies a main character, Perseus-who is a demigod between two worlds-and born of Zeus but to be raised as a mortal. Perseus took on a journey that is more about self-discovery than battling monstrous foes.

A grand tale of rebellion against divine tyranny it weaves, for a young Perseus won’t play a pawn, he is challenged by what holds existence to its throne. The frightful kraken and snake-haired Medusa to some are monstrous; yet the fears for and the trials that should be made must face humanity for the hero it would shape.

The gods were not sinfully evil as embodied in Zeus and Hades, but rather jealous, proud, and vengeful. All their arguments and their differences are mirrored with man’s problem, thus really very accessible but epically of its kind grandiose.

It has nothing to do with survival but it proves the human spirit when it rises against the impossible with its courage, free will, and strength. Even titans fall if mortals dare to rise.
