Movie is a classic, the characters played in movie are top notch. Elizabeth being a very realistic character that stays on her guard and doesn’t mind giving her opinion on the other hand, loves to be called nicknames while being in love. Her dialogue that gets me all the time is “My courage always rises with every attempt to intimidate me”. Really admire Jane Austen’s writing style, the way she wrote Charlotte’s dialogue as “I’m twenty-seven years old, I’ve no money and no prospects. I’m already a burden to my parents and I’m frightened. So don’t you judge me, Lizzy. Don’t you dare judge me!”, that is relatable to many girls who are striving to live up to marriage market standards, fear of being the old one.

What would be your take on the book or movie? Which one do you prefer?
