Pride and Prejudice is classic. Whether it is the book or the movie.
Pride and Prejudice, the book, is the classic example of how you keep the readers on the hook. The slow build up of the book doesn’t allow you to keep the book down. In the begining, Jane Austen introduces the characters of the story and the environment in which they are living. The graphic description provided by the writer really makes you travel back in time and relive the stories. The resentment between Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy when they first met is converted into love throughout the story. I speak on the behalf of all the people when i say that in the movie, how the confession interaction between Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy is portrait in the rain is the favorite change in the movie.
Jane Austen really brings out the details regarding every interaction and characters. You can imagine yourself being there and experiencing it all, imagine yourself between all those people in the ballroom or at their house, experience the passion between Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy’s arguments and resentments.
The poetic explanation of little details about the story brings out the palpable characteristics of the story throughout the book.
