It’s been a year since Matthew Perry passed away, and I was today years old when I came to know that it was bought by an Indian!

News states that the LA home where Matthew Perry died in October 2023 has sold for $8.55 million in an off-market deal to Anita Verma-Lallian, an Arizona-based real estate developer and producer. She’ll use it as a vacation home for her family. Verma-Lallian said she fell in love with the home immediately, especially the view of the Pacific Ocean. She’ll keep some of the design elements, including the Batman logo in the pool (Perry was a big fan of the superhero). She even did a traditional Hindu blessing of the property to honor the good parts of Perry’s life and legacy.

Anita Verma-Lallian, the buyer of Matthew Perry’s LA home, is proud of her Indian heritage and has incorporated it into her personal and professional life. She is a real estate developer and a film producer who focuses on projects that amplify marginalized voices. Her Indian roots inspire her to give back to her community and to diversity in storytelling.

As the CEO of Camelback Productions, the first South Asian and Indian film production company in Arizona, Verma-Lallian has made it her mission to represent South Asian stories and voices. This platform allows her to tell her own stories that reflect her heritage and connect with people from similar backgrounds. Her production company celebrates cultural diversity and bridges cultural gaps through the arts.
