The classic recipe for a margarita is similar to that of a traditional margarita but with a few changes. But let’s look into the sweet and simple classic recipe for a margarita. 

  • Step 1: Run a lime wedge on the brim of a margarita glass and dip the rims in salt, setting them aside as salt-rimmed glasses, which are an identification of a margarita.
  • Step 2: Take a cocktail shaker and combine white tequila, triple sec, and lime juice. Fill it with ice and shake it thoroughly for 15 seconds until chilled. Note that the bottom of a metal shaker should frost over.

  • Step 3: Fill the margarita glasses with fresh ice and strain the margarita from the shaker into the glasses. 
  • Step 4: Serve it with freshly cut lime wheels and place it on the rim of the glass. You can also add fresh mint. There are many margarita recipes but just these four simple ones and you have got yourself a delicious margarita.  Now, it is important to note that one can easily improvise the recipe and make a margarita per your preference and choice. 

You can easily opt for a virgin margarita which is a non-alcoholic version, wherein the alcohol is replaced with agave syrup or agave nectar which is a sweet-flavoured beverage used as a substitute for alcohol.People also add orange juice to opt for a non-alcoholic version. Some people also add sour mix and simple syrup to the cocktail.

One can also add fresh fruit juices to embrace the drink with different and fresh flavors, and even club soda is added to the margaritas to give a fizzy effect to the taste buds. The Alcohol content in an alcoholic margarita or any other alcoholic beverage is always a tricky business; one needs to be responsible and attentive while consuming alcoholic drinks. Alcohol, if consumed carelessly, can result very badly in your mental and physical health.

Intake of alcohol should always be in the right proportions and amount; no matter how good it tastes or how much it calms your anxiety, you can not get carried away when it comes to alcohol. You should always know the alcohol content of your drink. There are some major things you should keep in mind before and after drinking.

3.1.  Say No to Empty Stomach Before Drinking 

It is highly advised to have alcoholic beverages after the meal and not to have an empty stomach. People who eat before drinking tend to be better off; this is because the rate of alcohol absorption in the bloodstream slows down. Experts advise against drinking with an empty stomach as it directly impacts your body.

3.2. Take it Slow, Nurse It

Keep in mind your alcohol consumption capacity, and drink slowly. Just because the people around you are juggling down drinks doesn’t mean you have to do the same, so don’t feel pressured. Take it slow and steady.

3.3.  Stay Hydrated

No matter what you are drinking, make sure you have a glass of water in between your drinks. Consuming alcohol tends to dehydrate your body, so drink more water to make amends, even if you are not thirsty.

3.4. Eat Before You Sleep

Do not go to bed just after drinking or after a party. Sit down and relax for some time. Keep drinking water or a chilled glass of milk, which can work wonders for a hangover. Next morning, have a glass of fresh, chilled buttermilk to cool down the heat in the body.

3.5. Choose Wisely

A great piece of advice for first-timers is to start with drinks with a low ABV or Alcohol- by -Volume. Cocktails are a very good way to start with. This fizzy, tall cocktail, full of flavors, and filled with all sorts of syrups and juices, is generally in demand by Amazon beginners.
