Daily soaps, especially series, are imperative to kill time when we do not have much to do. May it be supernatural, horror-gothic, or comedy, people love watching series till the end. So here’s my list of must-watch TV series. And I would suggest you should try them too. 😉
1. The Big Bang Theory
The show is primarily focused on five characters living in Pasadena, California. Leonard & Sheldon are both physicists who share an apartment; Penny, a waitress, and an actress who later becomes a pharmaceutical representative. The geekiness and witty intellect of the four guys are contrasted with the comic effect of Penny’s (the lady character) social skills and common sense. One can see good humor and some good intellect dialogues. Worth your time, the top one on the list. ( there you go!!!)
This TV series spins around six friends living in Manhattan. The story commences with Rachel fleeing from her wedding and meeting Monica and the others at the coffee house. They end up being roommates living across Joey and Chandler. Despite living different lives, they all hang out in the common coffeehouse every day and share their ups and downs. Comedy and friendship being the key, the show is all about their resilient friendship and genuine humor. (So how you doin ?)
3. Sherlock
A must-watch for all the detective stories and especially Sherlock fans. Sherlock is a British crime drama television series and contemporary acclimatization of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes detective stories. The Series is mostly filmed in Cardiff, Wales. North Gower Street in London is used for exterior shots of Holmes and Watson’s 221B Baker Street residence. Most watched tv series in the UK since 2001, it has got fans all over the world. Sherlock’s powers of observation & remarkable intellect will amaze you and sometimes will catch you off guard. (Why don’t you people think?)
4. Game of Thrones
Game of Thrones is an American fantasy drama TV series. It is an adaptation of A Song of Ice and Fire, George R. R. Martin’s series of fantasy novels, the first of which is titled A Game of Thrones. The story is about the fictional continents of Westeros and Essos and interweaves several plot lines with a broad ensemble cast. The first narrative arc follows a civil war among several noble houses for the Iron Throne of the Seven Kingdoms. There are sightings of some legendary mythical creatures and all of it for the Iron throne. (Valarmorghulis)
5. The Flash
It is built on the DC Comics character Barry Allen/Flash and mostly filmed in Vancouver, Canada. The show is all about a costumed superhero crime-fighter with the power to move at superhuman speeds. For a spin-off from the arrow, Barry is a crime scene investigator who gains superhuman speeds. Envisioned as a backdoor pilot, the positive reception was received by Barry during two appearances in Arrow. The superhero suit’s design is taken from the comics. It’s not certainly a poor imitation of the DC comics, but a brilliant portrait of a superhero story. It is a definite show on DC comics lovers’ must-watch list.
If you haven’t watched them ready, I strongly suggest that you do.
