Indian filmmaker and Director Karan Johar is well-known in the Bollywood industry. He recently took to his Instagram handle and expressed a mixed of emotions through social media as he completed a magical twenty-five years in the Indian film industry.
Moreover, he promised to unveil the first look of his upcoming film along with his birthday, Also, he shared a video in which glimpses of his legendary films can be seen.
He captioned the video,
Nothing but gratitude for the magical 25 years I have spent in the director’s chair.
I learnt I grew, I wept, I laughed – I lived. And tomorrow, another piece of my heart will be yours to see and I could not be more ecstatic as I celebrate my birthday with you all. With a kahaani that has prem written all over it.

Posters of “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani”
As he promised, Karan unveiled the colorful posters of his upcoming film titled “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani” on May 25, 2023.
First, he shared the poster of the lead actor of the film, Ranveer Singh, who stars as ‘Rocky’ in the film on Instagram.
He captioned,
“An absolute ‘heartthrob’, who wears his own heart on his sleeve—meet Rocky!
#RockyAurRaniKiPremKahaani, in cinemas 28th July, 2023.”

Karan also introduced the lead actress Alia Bhatt featuring ‘Rani’ in this film. Moreover, he shared a poster with a caption,
“Ladies & gentlemen, the queen is here to steal your hearts – meet Rani!”
Additionally, he shared one more poster of Ranveer and Alia and told the audience to stay tuned to meet Rocky and Rani’s families.
After a few hours, Karan Johar shared the poster of Rocky and Rani’s family on Instagram and wrote,
“Meet the Randhawas & the Chatterjees – the
two families of this ‘kahaani’
The power of family will decide the fate of love. Come, be a part of it all & more with #RockyAuraniKiPremKahaani, in cinemas on 28th July 2023.”

Releasing Date and Star Cast
This film will hit the theatres on July 28, 2023 and Karan Johar directed the film, while the writers are Sumit Roy, Ishita Moitra, and Shashank Khaitan.
Also, Pritam was in charge of the music, and Manush Nandun managed the cinematography of the film.
Lead actress Alia Bhatt has played the role of Rani in the film, and Rani belongs to the Chatterjee family, as per the poster.
Shabana Azmi, Churni Ganguly, Tata Roy Choudhary, and Anant Mahadevan are portrayed as her family members in the film.
On the other hand, lead actor Ranveer Singh played the role of Rocky who belongs to the Punjabi Randhawa family.
Apart from Ranveer, Aamir Bashir, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and more performed as his family members.
Legends Together on One Screen
Moreover, Shabana and Jaya will be seen together in this film for the very first time.
Once Shabana expressed sadness in an interview as she has not done much work with Jaya.
Besides this, Dharmendra and Shabana will also share the screen for the first time, even though they have been working on films for ages!
Both legends together would be nothing less than a home on fire, and also under the direction of Karan Johar!
Bringing these legends together in a movie was also like fulfilling a dream of the Indian audiences.
