How much do you love your sibling? More often than not, our little sister brings us a joy we love more than anything else. Here, we talk about one such poem, where the author sees her little sister for the first time and the joy she feels within.
Oh Yeah! It’s My Little Sister
On a fine morning
Heard a baby screaming
In a cradle swinging
Near me, sleeping.
A new-born to cherish and love
An extraordinary gift from heaven
With incredible blessings of God
To spread sisterhood with me
Oh yeah! It’s my little sister.
Rays of the sun shining upon the tip
A spark of smile twinkled upon her lip
Cute blush upon her cheeks
Made me jerk a little upon my toes.
As pretty as bud
Yet to open her eyes
To see the world around
Filled with happiness.
As delicate as cotton
All wrapped in a cloth
With my mother aside to care for
And me waiting to cuddle her.
An angel to share the journey of my life
To grow along with me for the rest of the phase
To share the joys and sorrows of mine
To stand with me in ups and downs.
A sibling to laugh and play together
A companion to talk all the way
A friend to share secrets
A member to add to my family
Oh yeah! It’s my little sister.
