Bigg Boss is back!!! After Gautam Gulati won the 8th season, Bigg Boss is back again with a bang. Because this time it’s “Double Trouble”. Yes, double trouble is the theme of Bigg Boss this year.
Who is Hosting the All-New Bigg Boss 9?
The show was hosted by different hosts for 4 years when it initially started. Arshad Warsi brought it out, and then the show was given to Shilpa Shetty in the 3rd season, Amitabh Bachchan hosted the 4th season. The Bigg Boss was handed over to Salman Khan, who continues to host the show. Keeping with the tradition, our very own Salman Khan is hosting this show as he proudly announced on Twitter, saying, “Bigg Boss 9 is mine”.
The TRPs of a channel go high if the reality show is hosted by a well-known celebrity which appropriately justifies why Salman Khan is invited to host the show, yet again.
Though the last season’s extended version of “Bigg Boss Halla Bol” suffered abruptly in terms of TRP of the show when Salman left it because of prior commitments, hopefully, this year there won’t be any more obstacles as Salman Khan is chosen again for this season to give consolation to the audiences who are impatiently waiting for on.
There is another rumor regarding Salman Khan’s per day earning through this show, and it is believed to be around 6-7 crores. A hefty amount of an average day earning, I must say!
The first promo was launched on September 10, and it’s said that “Bigg Boss season 9 with a double trouble theme could be a couple-season also”, according to some sources.
1. Predictive List of Bigg Boss 9 Contestants
1.1. Rahul Yadav
Rahul Yadav is an Indian entrepreneur, frequently referred to as the “bad boy of Indian startups”. He is the entrepreneur and Ex-CEO of Housing.com. He may be a contestant of Bigg Boss 9, as he posted that on Facebook as well.
1.2. Rashmi Desai
Rashmi Desai is an Indian television actress. She was a participant of Nach Baliye 7 and has been a part of many controversies. She was in the news about her marital problems with Nandish Sandhu. There is a bleak chance that she will be one of the contestants on the show.
1.3. VJ Bani (Gurbani)
Video Jockey Bani (Gurbani Judge) is an Indian actress and MTV India presenter. She has been a host of Roadies for many years consecutively. She is popularly known for her love of tattoos. According to the sources, she may be one of the contestants in Bigg Boss 9.
1.4. Sana Saeed
Sana Saeed is an Indian actress and model who has appeared in a few Bollywood films. She first appeared as a child artist in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and continued to perform in many other Bollywood films such as Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega and Badal. Recently she made her debut in Karan Johar’s ‘Student of the year’. She was also a participant in Nach Baliye 7. She might as well be there in Bigg boss 9 to add a glamour quotient to it.

Sunil Grover is an Indian actor and stand-up comedian born in a Punjabi Hindu family. Popularly known as “Guthhi” in comedy nights with Kapil, he might be another entertaining character in Bigg Boss 9.
1.6. Shweta Basu Prasad
Shweta Basu Prasad is an Indian film actress. She started her career as a child actress in Hindi films and television series. She got arrested in a prostitution scandal. As it goes along the lines of the eligibility of Bigg boss contestants, her scandalous life story will add to the show.
1.7. Asha Negi
Asha Negi is an Indian television actress. She won the Indian dance reality show Nach Baliye 6 and her partner Rithvik Dhanjani, her husband. Recently she was one of the hosts of Indian Idol Junior. She might as well be there as one of the contestants on the show to add to the list of hosts present inside.
The contestants are not yet confirmed, and this list is only a prediction from all the rumors we collected.
According to sources, “Radhe Maa” was also invited to be a contestant in Bigg Boss 9. Later the rumors regarding this were shut down when she declined the offer of being in the new season.
Let’s hope this season of Bigg Boss will be as entertaining as the previous, full of drama, emotions, and comedy.
