Kingโs Coronation is a religious ceremony in which the placement of a crown upon a monarchโs head is known as Coronation but few of us do not know about monarchy, right? It has different meanings to different persons.
In a recent video on Twitter, PM Rishi Sunak asked, what the monarchy means to him.
โI donโt think thereโs any better example of humility, of service of duty in office than the example set by her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth, the Second. She just has incredible quite resilience about her. She just got on with the job. And I found that inspiring, and I am sure many other people did tooโ,

The coronation of King Charles and his wife, Queen Camilla of the United Kingdom was held at Westminster Abbey in London on May 6, 2023 after the demise of Queen Elizabeth II in September 2022, Charles became the King by receiving Edwardโs crown.
British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak Plays an Active Role in King Charles’s Coronation
As per the tradition, Rishi Sunak read from the Biblical book of Colossians at King Charles III’s Coronation who is a devoted Hindu of Indian heritage and the first British Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
The Coronation was a moment of extraordinary national pride, said Rishi Sunak via social media.
Besides Sunak made a statement on coronation eve by saying,
“๐ฌ๐ง๐ Todayโs Coronation is a moment of extraordinary national pride.
No other country could put on such a dazzling display.
But it is not just a spectacle.
Itโs a proud expression of our history, culture, and traditions.
A vivid demonstration of the modern character of our country and a cherished ritual through which a new era is born.
God save the King!”
After the coronation ceremony was over, King Charles and Queen Camilla made an appearance on the balcony of Buckingham Palace and waved to the mob who gathered to experience this incredible historic moment.
Also, the Prince and Princesses of Wales with their three children joined the family on the balcony. However, Prince Harry and her wife Meghan Markle were missing at the ceremony.
In his recent post on Instagram, Rishi called this ceremony a happy and glorious moment.
He captioned the post,
“Happy and Glorious.
A truly historic day, as the country and Commonwealth come together to celebrate Their Majesties #Coronation.
Day after this coronation ceremony, thousands of picnics and stage parties were held in King Charles’s honor and these celebrations were open to everyone and did not require any formal invitation.
Rishi also shared some pictures of lunch in his recent post on Instagram by writing;
โBrilliant afternoon welcoming some incredible community heroes to Downing Street for our very own Coronation lunch. The rain stayed away, the cakes were delicious and even Nova was on her best behaviorโ.
