Apart from that there are other insects that marmosets rely on for their daily diet. Their average body length is very small which makes them even a target for big birds like hawks, eagles, and other predatory animals.
But luckily, they live in and are native to rainforests, which makes them almost invisible to predatory birds. Apart from that, the average life span of the marmoset is basically 15-20 years. Due to their small size, they become food for many due to which they’re endangered species.
There are also other major reasons that affect their species like forest fires during the breeding season which makes it difficult. Other reasons include factors like catching and capturing species for their studies and research which is now not prohibited. There are various other precautions that have been taken after realizing how endangered the species are. The bumblebee bat or Kitti’s hog-nosed bat is 1.1 to 1.3 inch length this metric is comparatively very small to ordinary bats. The weight is in proportion to their height.
