Balcony space is something that everybody living in the city wants to have. It’s a dream to have a beautiful and open balcony space, especially for people like me who live in apartments or flats. However, having a small balcony space annoys me as I cannot turn it in the way I want and make it look grand.
I think many people, like deck decoration for their balconies, it looks authentic and natural, at least in my opinion. So, flooring is an important aspect of decorating your balcony. The furnishing of your balcony must be natural, if you prefer a green paradise to live in, the wooden theme cannot be missed as shown in this Instagram video –
And for the wooden theme, decks are the best representation to showcase it. However, decks give authentic looks and you don’t even need to bother about the width of your balcony as they can be adjusted according to the space.

Every balcony does have corners, it is best to plant flowers and bushes at the corners, and the longer and denser the plants, the more natural vibes it will give. Regardless of the width, the length is also an essential part.
While you can plant the longer bushes at the corners, it would be best to plant different types of colorful and beautiful pants with mesmerizing fragrances in the length of the balcony. And this idea I stole from an Instagram reel, which is this one –
Well, if you have a little wider balcony, you can create a sitting space, by adjusting a couple of cute little chairs alongside a small table.
As for another tip, all thanks to a user on Reddit, NostAlpha, whose comment I randomly found to use the fairy lights, though it’s a bit fancy, it will illuminate your balcony along with your heart. However, LED strips are also a good customizable idea to decorate your balcony and the credit for this tip also goes to that user.

Though many people have their own opinions and ideas about decorating their balconies to give them a dreamy look, these are some of my best tips that when customized accordingly, you can get the best of your balcony looks.
Now, last but not least, using astro turfs for flooring gives an impressive look to your balcony, planting a variety of plants, and if possible having a cafe patio set can offer an unimaginable look like the balconies of penthouses.
