  5. Chopped green onion or green onion powder

Dip the spinach in some filtered water and put it over the gas or inside the microwave for a few minutes.

After this, drain the water and put the spinach in a bowl, then add a spoonful of mayonnaise, about a third of the quantity of spinach you are taking, and half of the spinach quantity of sour cream.

Don’t forget to add a chopped green onion or two spoonfuls of green onion powder. You may also add some garlic powder and salt. Grind them together and freeze them before serving. 

1.2. Vegan Recipe

You will need the following ingredients to prepare the vegan recipe for spinach dip:

  1. Chopped baby spinach (frozen spinach or fresh)
  2. Coconut cream or any other vegan cream
  3. Garlic
  4. Chopped onion
  5. Vegan mayonnaise
  6. Cashews
  7. Salt
  8. Coconut oil or olive oil (optional)

First, soak some baby spinach for an hour minimum; similarly, soak the cashews, preferably in hot water. You may also add some other dry fruits like almonds too.

Then, grind it with chopped onion, garlic, one bowl of vegan mayonnaise, and coconut cream. Freeze it for at least an hour before serving. 

You may also do this differently. First, you will need to soak the spinach and the cashews for an hour before draining them. Then, heat a pan on the stove before pouring in some coconut or olive oil, covering the entire pan.

Now, put in a handful of crushed garlic, chopped onions, and salt. When the onion is cooked until it turns yellow, add the chopped garlic and stir for a few minutes.

Simultaneously, grind the cashew nuts, along with some onion and garlic. Add in some vegan mayonnaise and coconut cream to it.

When the mixture is done, lay it out in a bowl, pour over the spinach from the pan, and mix well with a teaspoon of olive oil. Now, you may serve it hot or frozen.

1.3. Spinach Artichoke Dip Recipe

The following ingredients will be required for this recipe:

  1. Mayonnaise
  2. Ground garlic
  3. Cheese/Cream cheese
  4. Sour cream
  5. Pepper or chilli flakes
  6. Artichokes (canned or fresh)
  7. Spinach
  8. Shredded Cheese (mozzarella)
  9. Parmesan cheese

You will need to bring a medium-sized pan where you will mix sour cream, cream cheese, pepper, mayonnaise, and ground garlic and put it on the gas for 5 minutes.

Now, add shredded spinach, mozzarella sticks, parmesan cheese, and canned artichokes in a different bowl and grind them together. Now combine the mixes and stir them more in a big bowl.

Get a baking dish, pour some olive or any other cooking oil, and put the entire mix in it. You may top it with some more mozzarella cheese.

Then, put the mixture in an oven at 200F for 20 minutes or 500F for 5 minutes. You may also stop when the topping starts melting.

You may also use onion, garlic, and chilli powder if you like your food on a spicy level. Serve it with some plain crackers, and you are good to go.
