When getting tired of modern-day video games, rediscovering the fun of Analog Gaming is not at all a bad idea.
Being a part of retro gaming, I guess most of the fun lies in the vintage analog games. Unlike modern-era video games, analog gaming not only offers much more fun but is associated with emotions as while playing with loved ones, these games allow people to make eternal memories and it’s not limited to it, many reasons allow people to indulge in analog gaming, mentioned below are few of them.

1. You can play analog games anywhere
Analog games are tabletop games such as board games, which do not require electricity to play like video games or battery for playing games on your smartphones. So, the first reason to immerse in the world of analog games is you can play them anywhere. Regardless of the place, these games are portable as well, for example, you can pack a chess board in your luggage while going on vacations or carry along the cards while going to meet your friends.
2. Teach essential life lessons
While not being a source of entertainment only, analog games have great significance in teaching life lessons to people. If you are wondering, how, then let me explain with an example. Card games like gin rummy include financial risk, it’s easy to get addicted to money-winning games, especially when you are winning the most, but just like life, days never remain the same, they change and so does the gameplay.
So, when you start losing your money, it’s obvious to get frustrated or get addicted to winning for which you may be ready to lose more money just to win one chance. So, at times like these, the first thing it teaches is that addiction to anything can lead to the exploitation of your daily life, on the other hand, remember that the life of the cards can fall against you anytime, so don’t get lost in the shine of a few days and think on a long-term.
3. Make kids use their brains without opening the books
Board games like Ludo, jigsaw puzzles, and sequencing the patterns oblige children to use their brains to win. Even if they do not know the right move, they will try every possible move to satisfy themselves and this is how playing analog games helps kids improve their brains and skills.
Like all games this too has different levels from beginner to advanced based on the number of shells / seeds / pits used

Far far better than modern mobile and video digital game

4. Unite generations and allow people to spend time together
The real charisma of analog games lies in this reason as they allow people or your loved ones to spend a great memorable time together. And this is not something that I’m just saying, you must have felt this when you have played board games or card games with your grandparents and parents together and gathered some long-lasting memories.

I'm not opposed to video games – in moderation.
But you know what is better to bond over? Analog games.
Board, imagination, exploration, reading, story – you name it.
They open dialog, create conversations, and memories. pic.twitter.com/HoypzovWiP
5. Makes you feel relaxed while having fun
While giving a sense of competition, analog games never bore you. While having fun with your close companions, these games make you feel relaxed and allow you to have great fun. Also, one of the reasons for getting relaxed is that they can be played anywhere, so you don’t need to sit for a long time in a confined room until the game is finished. You can even have fun in gardens or on your lawns with these games.
