If money could speak, it would take a deep and heavy sigh and say,
“You made me your need. But knowingly or unknowingly, you have made me the purpose of your entire life.”
I see everyone running endlessly just to earn me. Every morning, every night, and in every dream, a human being desires nothing more than to have me.
People go to such lengths to get me — sometimes even risking their lives. I understand that I am important. But am I really so important that people can’t even see their own lives beyond me?
As if I am the ultimate truth of existence.
If I had a voice, I would say, “I am just a means, not the end. I am the path, not the destination.”
I see those innocent hands that should be holding books, holding coins instead. I see those eyes that no longer dream, but only calculate my worth. If I could speak, I would tell children:
Play, learn, smile, and dream big.
Don’t waste these beautiful moments of life counting me. I will come to you when the time is right — when you grow with wisdom and purpose. I feel helpless when I see the youth. Why such a hurry to chase me?
Don’t run after me. Study, grow, and become successful. When you succeed, I will follow you on my own.
When I look at the rich, I wonder —you forgot your loved ones for me. You ended your relationships just to keep me close. You even killed the humanity within yourself.
But have you ever wondered what I think about you? Don’t just store me. Spend me where someone’s need is fulfilled.
In feeding the hungry, in educating a child, and in saving the life of the poor.
In those moments, I become truly valuable. I can offer comfort, but not peace. True peace comes only by giving happiness to others. If I could speak, I would teach you —“I am a good servant, but a terrible master.”
Because the truth is: I am meant to serve, not rule.
And when I become the master, man becomes the slave — without even realizing it.
