Is it true that the asteroid headed for earth could wipe out our planet? That’s one crucial question that will be on everyone’s minds as the date approaches near—this one here is for those fear-mongers among us who believe that doomsday is far closer than ever thought before.

An investigation done by express.co.UK discloses that there would be six asteroids that will pass within the cosmic fraction of the earth in seven days. The predicted dates are September 22, 23, 24, 27, and 28. Scientists have said that the ones to pass on 23, 24, 27, and 28 are 57, 39, and 31 m in length, respectively. However, their main cause of worry is the asteroids that will pass on the 22nd and the 24th, which are 190m and 280 m long, and another asteroid of 270 m two days later.

In addition, NASA disclosed that the 280m long asteroid flying on the 22nd would be flying over at a safe 14.7 miles from the planet. The 270m long asteroid, scheduled on the 24th, is at a much closer range, namely about 5.1 miles.

Is This The End?

Probably not. However, we still wouldn’t know if it were true. The good news is that NASA has confirmed that all the prophecies about the world’s end by these asteroids are unusual and ensures that there is no need to worry. As per their research, no astronomical object is likely to collide with the earth for the next hundred years.
