Sun tan1 is a very unpleasing and crucial problem in all women’s lives. Suntan not only makes our skin appear dark and unappealing but also disrupts the smooth texture and essential features of our skin.

The most affected areas of sun tan are the face, neck, and arms. Despite applying sunburn protection lotions2 and various other chemical creams, we fail to remove the tanning. The parlor visits might minimize the sun tan but do not give us satisfactory results. When all physical and chemical attempts fall short in eliminating the tan, it’s the homemade remedies that heal the situation.

Here are a few homemade remedies that remove sun tan within fifteen days:

Potatoes

Boil seven or eight potatoes and smash the potatoes to make a thick paste. Add lemon juice to it. Keep it aside for a few minutes and then apply it on the affected areas and allow it to dry completely. Once it dries, wash the paste with cold water, and make sure you repeat the same procedure at least twice a week.

Take a lemon. Cut it into two and apply the lemon over the affected areas, squeezing it continuously over the tanned areas. After the lemon juice dries, take a bath after thirty minutes.
