Are you listening to the same old playlists over and over again? Even though the playlists are your own, you may find it annoying to repeatedly hear the same songs. And so did I. Now, I do use YouTube and Spotify to discover new music constantly, but they don’t work the way I want them to.
You need to search for the songs yourself, which isn’t possible until you don’t know the name or something relatable to them. Then, I use Instagram to discover new music and what people listen to nowadays. It took me some time to discover music this way, but eventually, I found people whose music could match my taste.
Further, users’ recommendations are sometimes constructive and can easily be found on social media. Though choosing your favorite songs from the hundreds of songs released daily worldwide has become challenging, finding a practical approach that can quickly help me discover music could be a difficult task.
Further, although I use Spotify, I have never tried listening to other people’s playlists, and when I did, it worked.

To discover new music, many short videos on social media seem reasonable, as the songs are played one by one in them, and if you like a song, you can just know the title.
Through this method, you can directly find the songs or music that you’re interested in and then search for them on Spotify to listen to and enjoy them. People add many trending songs to these reels, so if you don’t like them, you don’t need to waste your time on them.
I get to discover the music of all time, especially the popular EDM music each year, which is still trending among youth.
Also, many people prefer to tap on their favorite artists’ playlists; almost every artist is available on this app. So, discovering new music becomes relatively easier if you already have your favorite artists on your list.
Spotify offers a feature that allows you to make readymade playlists of each artist, so whoever you like, you can get their new songs, music, albums, and even podcasts there. However, after a specific time, it also becomes limited as everything goes on repeatedly, and every artist doesn’t post every day, so sometimes, we need to wait to hear from our favorite artists more.

We say we don’t compromise with your essential things in life, but music is also one of the things that I would never like to compromise with.
You may find it sometimes frustrating or annoying to listen to your EDM playlists repeatedly, but at a certain point, you realize that ‘old is gold,’ and no matter how many new songs or music genres you add to your playlists, your favorites always remain favorites.
