I have been an active person since childhood. I love physical and outdoor activities. Even during college, I always joined different sessions, so I didn’t get to stay much at home. But things changed drastically when I got my first job two years ago.
Nowadays, almost every job involves eight hours of working – sitting in front of the computer, which is normal. It was so tiring for me every day, and I didn’t get a chance to know when I became sluggish to go outside or indulge in physical activities as I spent all my time sitting somewhere or lying in my room.
It was like my original lifestyle had vanished; every day was dull, tiring, and lazy. And I also didn’t bother about what was going on with me until one day when my friends invited me for a day out. And that day, I almost came back exhausted; my hands and legs were shaking, and I had a terrible headache. On the other hand, my friends were okay.
Due to some physical activities, like walking around the city, playing in an amusement park, and dancing, I finally became like this. Then, I realized the not-so-healthy and sedentary lifestyle1 I am living, as I have never been like this.
I gathered motivation as I was just 25 by observing as compared to others how weak, unfit, and lazy I was.

These were the small and regular activities that people do every day, and I also did during my college years. So, I decided to quit this sedentary lifestyle of mine and rediscover a physically active one, which is full of mood and good vibes.
To live a healthy and active lifestyle, I first started waking up early and joined a gym for active workout sessions that contributed to managing my entire physical health. Joining the gym eventually made me less lazy, as I was paying for it, so I had to do it. It was like a motivation to keep going to the gym.
As a next step, I also changed my eating habits, from having quick bites to having leisurely and healthy feasts that improved my mood and kept me healthy.

However, I thought it wasn’t enough. Even though I started to live a healthy and active lifestyle, something was still missing. It was still a bit like a sedentary lifestyle. Further, gymming was part of my morning routine, so I added something during my evening routine to enjoy actual and my favorite physical activities.
I have always been interested in sports, sword fights, and martial arts. So, I joined a sports club, where I could play different sports I liked, such as tennis, skating, or basketball. I loved to play all of them.

Joining a sports club was the main factor in making me forget about the sedentary lifestyle I was previously living. Doing my favorite activities contributed to my quality of life, which has improved dynamically since the day I decided to quit an unhealthy lifestyle2. And I would never want to go back to that lifestyle ever again.
