While it has been seen that SDEs are similar to NDEs in several ways based on the unusual or heavenly experiences that people have been through, there is more to it. People who have gone through shared death experiences primarily described elements like hearing beautiful music around them, a mystic scenario of death, a sense of upward pull on the body, and the change in the geometry of the room.
These are the experiences that SDE people go through whereas NDEs are more of a personal experience than SDEs because in an NDE, a person lives the death by himself whereas in an SDE, a person shares the death experience with their loved one, which the person is not physically involved in the phenomenon, which is the opposite of NDEs.
However, have you ever thought about some side-effects or after-effects of SDEs or NDEs that a person has to deal with after these experiences? Well, there are possibilities and if not side-effects, there must be some after-effects for sure.
The following elements may characterize #SharedDeathExperiences:

Even though there is research about NDEs and SDEs, there is still a lot to dig up, and everything just blows up when it comes to scientific communities and terms. SDEs and NDEs, both are rare phenomena and many people don’t talk about them much people who open up mostly talk about their experiences. So, it is difficult to find the after-effects of SDEs and NDEs.
However, many people around the world could be the reason for people who have gone through SDEs or NDEs do not discuss it much because many of us start comparing and debating about being an atheist or theist and the entire scenario ends up being a topic of debate.
So, even though people don’t talk about it much, there is still enough information for further research about the after-effects of SDEs and NDEs. One of the people, who shared her NDE experience specifically about its side-effects and after-effects I found is Laura, who is a spiritual master and nutritionist.
She has experienced an NDE and regrets coming back to life. So, is it a side-effect of NDE? Well, these are the views that can vary from person to person. Some people reported depression or anxiety after going through a near-death experience, even if these weren’t long-term effects.
When Laura came back to life, she started to feel a lack of loving experience and doubted if whatever she did was right (coming back to life).

While we don’t hear much of negative experiences about NDEs or SDEs, there are few people like Laura, who talked about these negative experiences.
Change of perspectives is obvious because when you encounter something unusual, which is real but when you talk about it, there are probability that most people won’t trust you can cause a lack of confidence, resulting in short-term depression or stressful living.
Further, even if people don’t believe, our universe is proof that anything is possible in this world. However, it’s a matter of perspectives and our limited minds that don’t approve of things beyond reality and call them illusions.
The change in perspectives is genuine that NDE people have felt after experiencing it. People who have experienced life after death for nearly 30 minutes must have felt the change of perspectives because the heavenly and peaceful experiences they felt were claimed to be calmer than the all experiences they have gone through in their entire lifetime.

Many people reported the loss of fear of dying, which is a certain aspect. Why? Firstly, think of yourself living in this world, where you need to work daily, go through regular stress, deal with chaotic life, and always in combat of trying to balance everything in life. But, we live this kind of life because our mind thinks it is real, and yeah! that’s the end – there is nothing after death. For our limited minds, death is a scary phenomenon, which is associated with the end of existence and fear of losing our loved ones and so on.
But, why do we fear death? It’s simply because we don’t know the truth about death, what is death, how it feels like when dying, and what happens after it. Do we rot in hell or go to heaven? Do these things actually exist or not? Our minds just get stuck in these questionnaires and forbid us to think beyond them.
Now, come to the part where have you already seen and experienced a life-after-death, which you find is not as terrible and scary as you think, but it’s the opposite, where you have a great peace of mind, and feeling out of the world with no worries at all and purely indulged with yourself with an incredibly calming feeling. Would you like to leave this kind of place, if it exists?

I’m sure nobody will. So, when people who have experienced an NDE talk about it as their calmest experience, they aren’t wrong at all, they have just dealt with something that is beyond imagination but exists. And it is the reason, why people regard it as a journey beyond death which is like finding an eternal piece.
It’s not a side-effect of NDE, it is an obvious scenario that can affect the way of thinking of any person, due to which people often get new viewpoints of seeing life from a different angle.
Another after-effect is associated with spirituality, where many people started to believe in the existence of an eternal and sacred spirit or in simple words, God.
Even though it feels like living in a different world for a longer period, it is normally a few minutes of the real world. But, the powerful transformations that a person goes through and the peace he/she finds within that time is an alleviating experience.
Regret of coming back to life can lead to certain types of stress or depression whereas the joy of experiencing a strange peace of mind and gaining new insights are certain after-effects that are found to be good for dining new purposes in life.
