We often hear life is complicated. And it’s true — we hear it from the world around us, and sometimes, even more loudly, from deep within ourselves.

There are moments when we fall into such depths of thought that we begin to question: Is there even a purpose to all of this? What is life, really?

Sometimes, we convince ourselves not to think too much. We say, “Just go with the flow.”

But let’s not pretend — even this so-called flow isn’t random. It, too, is part of a carefully orchestrated design — a “plan” crafted by someone or something we all call by different names: God, Allah, Bhagwan, Jesus, the Universe, Science — whatever brings us comfort.

But let’s not get lost in that mystery, because no one really knows the full truth of life.

What we do know is this: Our purpose often begins with curiosity — a yearning for the things we were denied, or things we’ve never experienced but deeply wish to.

For those who’ve never stepped outside their homes — bound by restrictions or expectations — their purpose becomes freedom. For those who’ve grown up with financial struggle, the purpose is to earn money.

For those raised in chaotic homes, the desire is to find peace somewhere else. And for those who eventually achieve these things, the goals shift — maybe toward buying an expensive car, owning a bungalow, taking international trips, or fulfilling dreams their parents couldn’t achieve.

A Desire to Live Life Wholeheartedly

So, the “dream life” we often speak of? It’s a longing. A longing to complete what feels incomplete. To mend what’s broken. To reclaim what was lost. To free ourselves from the chains we didn’t choose.

But desires? They’re never-ending. One gets fulfilled, and another is already in line.

Because struggles never truly disappear. Even in the smallest victories, we find new problems to solve — and that’s how our desires are reborn. This cycle continues… for a lifetime. There’s no full stop.

But maybe that’s okay. Instead of feeling overwhelmed by the weight of it all, maybe we just need to believe that what we have is enough — for now. That doesn’t mean we stop dreaming.

It just means we carry our desires lightly. We keep working, keep growing, and keep seeking — not because we’re incomplete, but because we’re evolving.

And maybe that’s what a dream life really is — not a destination, but a journey fueled by quiet hunger, unshaken hope, and relentless curiosity.
