Well, it is a cloud of grief that had engulfed Southampton Football Club and its fans. They have been relegated from English Premier League and the poor performance of the team from the pre-season games continued throughout the EPL.
Their misery came to an end with a loss to Fulham by 2-0. It was the nail in the coffin.

The Southampton Football Club had one of the forgetful performances in EPL 22. The team won only 6 games out of their 36 encounters.
Moreover, the FC has a dismal goal difference of 36 goals. With just 20 points, the club is ranked last in the table.
In the upcoming matches, Southampton will face Brighton & Hove Albion Football and Liverpool. Brighton & Hove Albion Football had already surprised the world by defeating Manchester United by 1 – 0 recently.

2. Southampton vs Fulham
Southampton faced Fulham in their last encounter. Also, the match was played at their home ground. Moreover, the match was a must-win and must-score match for Southampton to have a ray of hope to prevent relegation.
