Met Gala is usually held on the first Monday of May and all the big names in the fashion world assemble to showcase their best costumes which are designed on a theme.
The theme of Met Gala 2023 was a tribute to the late designer Karl Lagerfeld who was the creative director of the iconic brand “Chanel” and this year the theme was “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty”.

Kylie Jenner did not upset her fans for the sixth time in a row at the biggest fashion night of the year. She shocked her fans with a red cutout gown with a sky blue silk cape. She collaborated with Haider Ackermann this time to bless the carpet with a stunning look.
She posted a video of her acing the look in the carpet with the caption,
“HAIDER ACKERMANN FOR JEAN PAUL GAULTIER ♥️💎 thank you to the entire @jeanpaulgaultier team and @h.a ! I love you guyssss 🫶🏻 you make my fashion dreams come true.”
For the carpet, she wore a red asymmetric dress with a thigh-high slit. It also had a double-shaded silk robe that was sky blue. She went for a simple look this time by pairing the gorgeous red gown with red pumps and a diamond earring keeping it simple yet elegant. Last year she pulled off an off-white bridal look.
Some fans were disappointed by the fact that her costume was too basic and did not match the theme, On the other hand, some fans claimed that her after-party look was closer to the theme than the carpet look.
For the after-party, she wore a corseted hourglass silhouette dress by Jean Paul Gaultier. She paired her after-party costume with dangled earrings and styled her hair down.
Kylie Jenner along with her sisters Kim Kardashian and Kendal Jenner was talking to Vogue and said “I’m looking forward to making more memories with my sisters, the fashion,” while her rumored date Timothée Chalamet was not there for the event this time.
