Creating your own homemade cleaners can be really helpful and may also give you a sense of reliance at times when you can’t go to buy your favorite cleaners from shops or in case shops are closed but you need them urgently. But, is this the only reason for making DIY natural cleaners? Actually, no! One of the reasons for using homemade natural cleaners is that they are harmless and effective because, in DIY cleaners, people don’t usually add extra chemicals like industrial ones, which is also an eco-friendly idea. However, if you also want to prepare some effective natural DIY cleaners, go through the ones given below.
1. DIY All-Purpose Cleaner
Using citric acids is one of the best methods to make an all-purpose cleaner as they work as an excellent degreaser. To prepare this cleaner, mix two cups of distilled water, a half teaspoon of dishwashing liquid, two tablespoons of lemon juice, and one tablespoon of baking soda, and after blending this solution, pour it into a spraying bottle. This all-purpose cleaner is good for light cleaning, but if you want to clean a very dusty area, make sure to rub the excessive dust with a cloth dipped in hot water. Also, remember to shake this solution before using it every time.

2. DIY Window Cleaner
By using isopropyl alcohol, a great window DIY cleaner can be prepared with the help of mixing some other ingredients into it. Here, you’ll need a solution of one cup of distilled water, one cup of isopropyl alcohol, and one tablespoon of white vinegar to prepare a homemade window cleaner. Further, just fill this naturally composed cleaner into a spray bottle and spray it on the window glasses, after that, rub the glasses with a soft rugged cloth and watch how it will discard all the dirt away.

3. DIY Lavatory Bowl Cleaner
Moving on to cleaning the toilet bowl, mix two cups of baking soda, any essential oil – lavender or orange, two tablespoons of distilled white vinegar, and half a cup of powdered citric acid in a big bowl and blend it well with a wooden spoon. Here, ensure that the bowl and spoon you are using must be non-metallic to prevent chemical reactions. It is a brilliant formula for cleaning the lavatory bowl and is extremely effective in removing stains. Also, this leaves a pleasant odor after cleaning that you’ll like for sure.
4. DIY Floor Cleaner for Tiles
Take a bucket and pour two gallons of warm water, half a cup of distilled white vinegar, 3-4 drops of dishwashing liquid, and half a cup of rubbing alcohol and prepare a whole well-mixed solution of these ingredients. Now, you can use a mop to dip into the solution and clean the surface. However, the thing to remember here is, that this is not a storable cleaner and you’ll have to prepare it every time before cleaning. Further, this DIY floor cleaner works excellent for almost all tile floors but can’t help you with cleaning marble or stone floors.
Lastly, I want to add a tip here – you can use a label to put on each cleanser bottle so, you won’t forget – where to use what.
