Brutality and cruelty against women and children are considered the lowest form of criminal acts. The governments of the world must take strict action against violent offenders.

Moreover,  they should also bring over strict laws to protect women and children.

But, the question is what if the violence is state-sponsored. Well, it appears that the Pakistani Police Force is unleashed and not governed by local laws.

There have been numerous reports of rapes and abuses of Pakistani women who have been arrested for supporting Imran Khan, the ex-Prime Minister of Pakistan.

Pakistan always had a disturbed political setup. Despite being an Islamic republic country, the nation has not witnessed a stable government.

Moreover, the interference from the military and frequent coups have crippled their political system.

Additionally, the state-sponsored terrorism against India and Afghanistan has resulted in a poor image of the country. In a recent turn of events, Imran Khan the previous Prime Minister of Pakistan ended up in a rift with the military.

As a result, Imran Khan was voted out in a no-confidence motion.

But Army had claimed no hands in the same. Further,  he was accused of 150 corruption cases and in a dramatic turn of events, he was arrested at the supreme court by a paramilitary.

Subsequently, the arrest was protested throughout the nation. This created unrest in Pakistan.

Rapes and Abuses

The Pakistani Police force arrested thousand of supporters including women.

The condition of these women is still unknown and there have been reports of rapes and abuses by the Police.

Imran Khan, the former Prime Minister has demanded the stopping of these inhumane acts against women. He took it to Twitter to claim and establish that rapes are part of police brutality.

He also added that any denial of the same is a lie and called out for action.

His tweet reads, “

If there were any doubts about women being mistreated in jails, this press conference from this certified criminal should remove all such doubts.

He is so obviously trying to cover up and preempt the horror stories about to break in the media.

Women have never been so mistreated and harassed by the state as they have been by this fascist govt when they were exercising their right to protest peacefully.

Government Response

The present government of Pakistan has rejected the claims of even mistreatment of women in jail.

They claim that Imran Khan is trying for GST international agencies to interfere in the internal issue of Pakistan.

Well, the truth lies between the government and Imran Khan. However, brutality and violence against women in any form should be strongly condemned.
