It is said that whoever entered the place after sunset has never been found. The story as told by the locals speak of some kind of a black magic worshiper who had cursed the fort to be unlivable.

There is a temple in Kerala known as Sabrimala Temple. A celestial lighting pops up every year on 14th January in one of the hills. Some of the local pandits believe that it’s an act of Lord Ayyappan. It’s not haunting but it still creates a hype in Sabrimala in this season.
