By now, there’s a strong chance you’ve heard — and probably contributed to — how insanely huge Pokémon Go is. It’s undeniable that Pokemon Go is taking the world by storm, and it’s expected to become increasingly popular as Niantic continues to add new features to the game. And now, Pokemon Go has surpassed PORN as the most searched term on Google.
For those who have no idea what we are talking about and probably are considering the world going seriously insane over some Cartoon show that used to be aired on TV (Oh! Good Old Days) here is all about Pokemon Go that you need to know.

Pokémon Go is an augmented reality game, that challenges users to find and catch Pokémon characters in their real world surroundings.
As it explains on the official Pokémon website: “As you move around, your smartphone will vibrate to let you know you’re near a Pokémon. Once you’ve encountered a Pokémon, take aim on your smartphone’s touch screen and throw a Poké Ball to catch it. Be careful when you try to catch it, or it might run away!”
As the Pokémon slogan goes, you ‘Gotta catch ‘em all!’

What’s Going on :
Pornography is generally the staple of online search and only on some rare occasions, has a search query managed to beat it. This is the first time a smartphone game has managed to top Google search. It shows that searches for Pokémon Go spiked on Wednesday last week as the game was released in Australia and New Zealand, and rose further as it was released in America at the end of last week.
But this is not to say that people are ditching porn in their quest to catch ’em all. Some people, it seems, are hoping to do a bit of both, according to new data from Pornhub. The world’s largest online porn network, said it has seen a whopping 136% increase in daily Pokémon-related porn searches since Monday.
Pornhub even created a graph to show the dramatic increase:
