The Departure

Silence

The rise of hope faded with the incense of fear
Silence of breath made the journey so near,
Reeks of distance took the reach to a year
Eyes thought no more of a drop of tear.

Wings being lost in the scary night
The pain seemed blurred in the scaling might,
Keeping aside the nearing plight
Sea bade adieu to the waving light.

A ray of a soul touched the daring hand
Left she the gallows to the unseen land,
Filled those palms with the holy sand
I wished that damsel for a glaring wand.

The mist of blood shined in the falling wall
Flocks of birds awaited the waking call,
Her dreams being felt to be deadly tall
Swam she against the thirst of all.
