1. Top 10 East Texas Lakes: Lady Bird Lake
Location: Lady Bird Lake, also known as Town Lake, is a reservoir present in the Colorado River, Austin, Texas, United States.
The area of Lake Lady Bird is about 189 ha. This reservoir was created in the year 1960 as a cooling pond for a power plant. The reservoir is named after Lady Bird Johnson, First Lady of the United States.
