Everyone loves watching movies. It’s a great way to pass time and is entertaining too! Especially Bollywood movies, they have a little something in them, which makes them so interesting to watch! Read on to find out more about all the big releases of Bollywood next year!
Airlift:
Airlift is directed by Raja Krishna Menon and is based on the evacuation of Indians from Kuwait, during an Iraq invasion. Starring Akshay Kumar and Nimrat Kaur, the movie is scheduled to release on 22nd January.
Neerja:
The movie is based on the life story of the tragic life of the air hostess, Neeraja Bhanot, who was shot dead by terrorists, in an attempt to save her passengers. The lead role is being played by Sonam Kapoor, and is expected to release on February 19th.
Jai Gangaajal:
A movie directed and produced by Prakash Jha,ย it is a sequel of the movie Ganga Jal, which released in 2003. It releases in March, on March 4th.
Azhar:
Emraan Hashmi plays Mohd. Azharuddin in this movie. He has been practicing cricket for 10 years and is being coached by Azharuddin himself. The movie will be releasing on May 13th.
Ki and ka :
Starring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Arjun Kapoor, it’s a family drama, directed by R. Balki. Release date is on April 1st.
Housefull 3:
They’re back again! Another Housefull, this time being directed by Sajid Farhad. The leads stars of the movie are Riteishย Deshmukh, Lisa Haydon, Akshay Kumar and Jacqueline Fernandez. The movie is expected to release sometime in mid-June.
Raees:
Shah Rukh Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Maria Khan tell the story of a bootlegger(played by Shah Rukh), who faces challenges in business. This thriller is directed by Rahul Dholakia.
Ae Dil Hai mushkil :
Karan Johar! This movie has been shot in quite a few European cities. Anushka Sharma, Ranbir Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will play the main roles. The movie is set to release on October 28th.
Mohenjodaro:
This film is based on the Indus Valley civilization. That means the story takes us back to around 5000 years ago! Hrithik Roshan plays the lead role. The movie will release on August 12th.
Sultan :
A Salman Khan movie. It releasesย on the same day as Shah Rukh’s Raees, July 8th. July will definitely be a great month!!
Ghayal once again :
This film stars four newcomers. Dharmendra plays the father of Sunny Deol. This movie was supposed to release much earlier, but it has been postponed due to VFX issues. The new release date is January 15th. Wait to see the father-son combination of then once again!
Dangal:
This release of this movie is really far away. December 23, 2016. Aamir khan plays the lead role of the wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat, who taught the sport to his two daughters. Geeta, one of his daughters, is India’s first female wrestler to win the commonwealth games. The story is about the life of the wrestler and his daughters.
