The most sizzling couple of Bollywood, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh, gave their fan followers an optimistic news by getting engaged. They got engaged on 6th of July, 2016. That not only marked Ranveer Singh’s birthday but also the fresh beginning of the newly engaged couple’s life. It was the best gift one could ever present to one’s boyfriend. How sweet?
After Deepika Padukone’s breakup with Ranbir Kapoor, the viewers did not expect Deepika to move on immediately, after all she had sobbed for months in Ranbir’s memories. But the day Ranveer Singh entered her life, things changed for her. She found that old feeling of alluring love reviving again for someone. Their love story initiated from the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s, “Goliyon Ki Rasleela, Ramleela.” Their on-screen chemistry was just too adorable and highly commendable. Although they never showed up their secret love for each other publicly, it was clearly visible in their films, Ramleela and Bajirao Mastaani.
After their shootings, they used to hang around with each other. They started dating each other since the mid-shoot of Ramleela. Ranveer Singh declared his love for Deepika openly, during the IIFA Awards by saying that nothing in this world could make him happier than Deepika’s presence. In return of his declaration, Deepika blew on flying kisses on him.
The two lovebirds, Deepika and Ranveer, had total family support in their union. Their families were much happier by their relationship status than they were. They had the approval for each other from their families. When Deepika demanded for two months to get officially married to Ranveer, they both decided to get engaged and hence exchanged rings on Ranveer’s birthday.
