The venue for the Smithsonian Portrait Gallery and American Art Museum Private tour is the Captain Cook Cruises. You have to get to the National Portrait Gallery at 8th Street & F Street, Washington, DC.

The museum is not pet friendly. However, you are allowed to bring service animals but not emotional support animals.

You can carry your camera, bottled water, and food. Have your food and drinks only in the Courtyard area. The area is wheelchair accessible as ramps are provided on both entrance sides.
