They play the game of ‘trick or treat’. Many people out there get so excited to start decorating for Halloween. Some start decorating so early that their love for it becomes evident. After all, who can blame someone for loving decorations? The first two weeks of October are regarded as early October. This time is also known as the best time to start decorating for Halloween. This is because October 31 is Halloween. Which makes early October the best time to start your planning. October is the month of fall. The fall season is generally referred to as the autumn season. Everything about the autumn season and the month of October gives Halloween vibes. Relief from hot weather, cooler weather, end of summer and pumpkin spice lattes!
Planning the decorations is done at this time. People start with basic Halloween décor like deciding the theme for their decorations. Then they start buying décor pieces and costumes. Some of them even start putting up the decorations and hanging them. If you only wish to buy the decorations and hang them during the last week of October, that is also totally fine.

If you feel that the décor pieces and costumes that you wish to buy will get sold out early, you can even start your Halloween decorations in late September.
Buying stuff like candles, costumes and other Halloween décor is fine. Planning your Halloween at this time is also perfect, but make sure to buy your pumpkins close to Halloween so they do not get spoiled.
2.3 Late October
It is not usually advised to start your planning in late October, but you can start decorating your house in late October. If you have not bought anything, you can still use the old decorations. Buying décor is also an option but you might be just left with the boring mainstream stuff.
So it is advised to only leave hanging and decorating for late October. Buying should be done beforehand to avoid selling out of décor pieces.
2.4 Last Minute

Although decorations give you a head start, still it is the activities that make your party interesting and worth staying. Here are some tips to make your party the best time your friends and family can ever have:

This is a fun and exciting idea to plan. You can go around your place and hide clues for everyone that lead to puzzles and riddles. At the end of these clues and riddles, you can plan a treasure. The person who solves all the clues the fastest receives the treasure.
The treasure can be candies or a spooky toy. The clues can be hidden in scary places. The riddles and puzzles can be related to Halloween.
4.2 Best Costume Competition
People love to dress up in different costumes on Halloween. But they would love it even more if they get rewarded for the best costume.
You can set up a costume competition and the best-voted costume can be rewarded with a prize. The prize can be cash or gift cards.
4.3 Haunted House
Halloween is incomplete without scary stuff. So, to make your party even more spooky you can set up a haunted house adventure.
