Review
The first time Spiderman came to all our lives and thankfully never left. Sam Raimi changed the face of superhero movies and created a foundation for the spiderman universe to spread its wings and fly.
This Columbia picture is the story of a boy who has a big secret. For him and us, it is the first time we are in this world. The casting of Tobey Maguire was an absolute genius, and he looks bewildered and equally innocent.
At that time, every 20-year-old guy could relate to spiderman and saw themselves in him. He was a hero rooted in reality, orphaned, and losing his uncle made for a compelling back story. He was also looked down by his classmates as a weakling.
The weakest in the class turns out to be the talk-of-the-town, he is the superhero who everyone can stop talking about, and that’s what makes spider man so much more special.
We have a lot of fun as Peter Parker explores his ability; we are heartbroken when he deals with his moral dilemmas because ‘with great power comes great responsibility. The drama that is created by Spiderman’s arch-enemy is his best friend’s father, which adds more tension and adrenaline.
Every actor does a fantastic job. Willem Dafoe is having the time of his life playing two personalities, and he pulled it off so damn well. Kirsten Dunst is cute, and a good actor; her chemistry with Tobey Maguire sizzles through the screen.
Spiderman is thoroughly entertaining, and you will feel cathartic being a part of this world. The dark streets add more drama to the entire movie. It is vibrant, classic, emotional, and represents the gold standard of superhero movies.
2. Spider-Man 2
Director- Sam Raimi
Cast- Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, Dylan Baker, JK Simmons, James Franco, Alfred Molina, Daniel Gillies
Plot
After becoming Spider-Man, Peter Parker’s life has not been the same. He has been fighting villains and trying to be alive. His grades are slipping, and he cannot hold down a job. Mary Jane, the love of his life, gets engaged to someone else.
On top of all this, Jonathan, the journalist, constantly blames Spider-Man for all the things that go wrong in the city. Peter decides to give up on fighting crime, but his plans are interrupted by Dr. Octavius.
Doctor Octavius is an eccentric, obsessive scientist whose failed experiment transformed him into a half-octopus. He is causing havoc with his four tentacles, which makes Peter wonder if it’s time for Spiderman to make an appearance. He is popularly known as Doc Okc or Doctor octopus.
Review
This is the second movie in the Sam Raimi trilogy of spider man movies, and it is a spectacle. After the magnanimous success of the first Spider-Man film, there was a lot of doubt regarding the quality of Spiderman 2 and a lot of pressure to do better than Spiderman 1.
Fortunately, spider man 2 managed not just to put all doubts to rest but exceeded the expectations of everyone. The cast remains the same, which is a plus; the audience was in love with the cast.
Spiderman 2 has a strong story, just like its predecessor, and the main focus is balancing Peter Parker’s identities- Superhero and the Young boy. Sam Raimi makes Spider-Man do the everyday task, and seeing that is such a treat.
Spiderman 2 has better VFX, making the round visuals even better. It has a lot of adventure, thrill, emotion, and drama. You will undoubtedly fall in love with this movie and Tobey Maguire.
3. Spider-Man 3
Director- Sam Raimi
Cast-Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, James Cromwell Cromwell, Bryce Dallas, James Franco
Plot
Peter Parker has a better hold of his life than before, and he has pieced together various parts of his life into a new whole. However, there are many more challenges coming for the young peter parker.

Peter Parker has to reach deep into himself, and he does not only have to fight the super villains but also himself. Will he succeed? Watch the movie to find out.
Review
This is not as good as the first spider-man film or the second Spiderman movie, but on its own, it is a great movie. Made with the same cast, Sam Raimi trilogy is here, his third film creatively lacks what his other two films had.
There is large-scale action, more drama with Mary Jane, and much better visuals, but this movie tries to be too many things at once. It struggles to find its purpose, and there are too many villains and too few stories to hold it all together.
4. The Amazing Spider-Man
Director- Marc Webb
Cast- Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Sally Field, Martin Sheen, Stan Lee, Rhys Ifans
Plot
The Amazing spider man movie starts from the beginning. Peter Parker is a teenager whose parents abandoned him, and he lives with his aunt May and uncle Ben. Like every teenager, he has many doubts and insecurities growing up, and he is trying to figure out who he is.

Peter has to make decisions that will impact his entire life. He goes to Oscorp, where his father’s partner Connors works. This leads him to a face-off with Connors’s alter ego, the Lizard.
Review
Spider-man is funny and very attractive; he shoots webs, flies, and jumps around the city from one building to another. It is too much fun to watch, and the audience can’t get enough of it.
One of the best things about this movie is that it is faithful to its source material: comic books; for all comic book lovers, this will be an absolute treat. Even though this Spider-Man movie has a similar plot to the first film has a lot of differences. To begin with, women have been shown in a better light.
Sam Raimi’s trilogy showed all women as pathetic human beings; this movie takes a kinder lens toward the females and gives them more flesh and blood. They are thinking and feeling beings, and they do not exist as just love interests or motherly figures for the superhero.
This movie escapes being predictable; it does not follow the common storyline of a girl getting kidnapped; spiderman will save her; it instead adds its twist and turns to shock the audience, and it will keep you guessing only to have you guess it wrong.
Amazing spider-man is a good movie, and it avoids a lot of cliches which gives it fresh air. It is entertaining, and the performances make it a compelling watch.
5. The Amazing Spider-Man 2
Director- Marc Webb
Cast- Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx
Plot
Peter has always struggled to balance his normal life and his responsibility as a superhero, and it has always been one of the biggest conflicts. Things get tougher in this one, as he is having the time of his life swinging from one skyscraper to the other great danger awaits him.
An army of villains is ready to attack and destroy New York, and only Spider-Man saves his beloved city and its people. Electro returns with Henry, and Peter realizes that his enemies are stronger than him. He also discovers all his enemy has had something in common- Oscorp.
Review
This movie has a lot of emotion, and it spends a lot of time on Peter and Gwen’s relationship. There is also a lot of action; sometimes, the action might get overbearing. Credit where it’s due, this movie has jaw-dropping visual effects and a lot of emotion.
Amazing spider man 2 is filled with clever-one liners and some solid moments where the film shines very bright. It was heading towards a more rom-com genre than a superhero movie, but the villains come into the movie by then.
Andrew Garfield’s natural charisma helps the movie in more than one way; the presence of a stronger villain raises the stakes a lot higher, which adds a lot more excitement. Emma Stone, Andrew Garfield, and DeHaan gave strong performances making this film quite delightful.
6. Spider-Man: Homecoming
Director- Jon Watts
Cast- Tom Holland, Robert Downey jr, Michael Keaton
Plot
Spiderman has had the taste of Avengers; after his time with the Avengers, he returns to live with Aunt May and remains under the watchful eye of his mentor Tony Stark. Peter tries to get back to his usual activities, but he is distracted.
He wants to be more than just ‘your friendly neighborhood spider man.’ Meanwhile, Vulture rises as a villain threatening everything Peter Parker holds close, especially his values and the people he loves.
Review
Spider-man homecoming stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker; spider-man homecoming is not just funny. It is very funny. This movie is packed with great action, CGI, stunning visuals, humor, emotion, and fun.
It is also a very important movie leading up to Avengers: infinity war and Avengers: End Game.
Tom Holland delivered a fun, delightful performance bringing teenage energy into the spider man movie. Peter Parker is vulnerable yet firm, the entire cast does a good job, and the presence of Robert Downey jr automatically lights up the screen.

Review
This is arguably the best Spider-Man movie out there, and it is also one of the finest animated movies. Spiderman: Into the spider-verse is FUN, and the animations steal the show. The movie feels like it has been made out of a comic book!
Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, who made the first Lego movie get their creative minds together to give us another memorable yet enthralling animated movie.
We follow Miles Morales’s journey, a spiderman in his universe; yes, this movie has a lot of multi-versal travel. Miles is a black person, which adds more color to his character (no pun intended). He is so full of life, art, and music, and it is all very refreshing and intriguing to watch.
Miles learns how to be a hero with the counsel of many spider-men and women from other universes. He is no beacon of hope, morally upright, or a hero that has come to save the universe. This movie is not preachy, and it is not trying to solve racism; it is not giving moral lectures. It is just for us to have a good time.
The movie moves quickly through the silly bits and pauses for the heart-tugging moments. The story is clever and complicated enough to keep the viewer hooked, and it is meant for you to lose yourself in this wild and creative universe, Marvel Cinematic Universe.
The visual effects are straight out of a comic book, making it more refreshing and amusing to watch.
8. Spider-Man: Far From Home

Parker hands over E.D.I.T.H to him. Was it the right thing to do? Watch Spider-Man: Far From home to find out.
Review
Columbia Pictures presents yet another compelling Spider-Man movie to us. Tom Holland gets in the character’s skin, and it feels like he was born to play spiderman. His chemistry with Zendaya has also been highly appreciated onscreen.
This movie is even better than Homecoming; a mourning spider trying to be a student and then forced to become a superhero is quite intriguing to watch. The movie is fast-paced; an hour goes by without even realizing it.
Some smacking actions and elevating moments make us cheer for Spidey. We also root for Spidey and MJ to get together. Please do not leave without seeing the mid-credit scenes. They have some major clues for what’s next in MCU.
9. Spider-Man: No way home
Director- Jon Watts

The multi-verse is shattered, bringing in monsters from all universes that could destroy the planet.
Review
The Tom Holland trilogy comes to an end, and This movie is the best conclusion to the trilogy. The movie starts as fun, safe and funny it ends are emotional, heart-wrenching, and satisfying.
