Pakistan continues to struggle economically and politically to this day. Despite achieving independence in 1947, the nation is seen to be crippled in progressing.
Moreover, the inability of the nation to at least have one tenure of Prime Minister completed despite 75 years of Independence states the political stability.
The constant military coups and formation of puppet governments have left Pakistan in a dark age.
Recently, the ex-Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan was arrested under corruption charges but the political party in power has called it a conspiracy.
1. Arrest of Shah Mehmood Qureshi
In a recent turn of events, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, the vice chairman of PTI was rearrested.
However, the arrest was marked just after the grant of bail.
Imran Khan, the ex-Prime Minister of Pakistan is visibly disappointed and he had called upon his supporters to keep fighting the injustice until their last breath.
2. Imran Khanโs Message
Pakistanโs political turmoil resulted in the nationwide shutting down of the internet.
Additionally, numerous incidents of arrests of party worker of PTI has also been reported and there also have been reports of violence across the country.
Imran Khan, ex-PM of Pakistan took to Twitter to call out the illegal rearrest of Shah Mehmood Qureshi. He called the present law as law of the jungle.
Moreover, he has called out the police for their attempt to arrest the party worker and force them to quit the party using violence.
In the tweet, Imran Khan also states that giving political pressure and the party would mean the death of the constitution and also he is not ready to do that.
His tweet reads,

We are now being governed by the law of the jungle, might is right and the only thing standing in its way is our judiciary.
The constitution is being brazenly violated along with SC rulings. Police are being used to crush PTI, our leaders are forced to quit the party.
Fundamental rights openly trampled upon, media totally muzzled, SM activists threatened.
Imran Riaz is not being produced in court despite court orders.
Also, our workers are cramped into small cells in this blistering heat while others have faced custodial torture.
Giving in to this Yazeediat means the death of our nation and hence will resist till my last breath.โ

3. Imran Khanโs Arrest
Imran Khan within a short span of taking over as the Prime Minister began his differences with the army. He moreover was also upset with the interference of the army in the governance.
He accused army of numerous allegations. Subsequently, Imran Khan lost his PM stature after the loss of the majority.
The ex-Prime Minister blamed the Chief of Army Staff, Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa for his loss in a vote of confidence. Within a short time, over 150 cases were charged against Imran Khan.
He was arrested on 09 May 2023 when he was in Islamabad court when the paramilitary entered the building in a movie style and dragged him into a car.
The Supreme ruled the arrest unlawful and thereafter Imran Khan was granted bail and thisย arrest triggered massive protests throughout the country.
Eight people died during the protest and numerous were injured.
