Then I attend my office, and then again from 3 PM- 4 PM, I have my training. It is very important to practice at least 6-7 hours to be a better player. I am enrolled in Bachelor’s in Physical Education so I also adjust my time for studies.
Q) Can you describe a particularly memorable or challenging fight in your career and what you learned from that experience?
Sachida Nand Yadav – It was in the year 2020 when I had a match in Nepal. I was not sure about my practice, but I was determined to win. I gave my 100 percent and worked day and night for 2-3 months. With all the practice and hard work, I bagged a silver medal.

Q) What role does your coach play in your boxing career, and how do you work together to improve your skills and develop winning strategies?
Sachida Nand Yadav – Coach plays a very important part in any player’s career. When I first started I did not know much about the game, the role of coach comes into play when he/she guides you and motivates you for the best.
If a person is new to a game and he/she does not know much about it, if there is no one to guide in the family too, a coach can become that guide.
Q) Can you share a moment when you felt the most proud of yourself as a boxer, whether it be a particular win or personal achievement?
Sachida Nand Yadav – My father did not initially like me becoming a boxer. He wanted me to complete my class 12, pursue engineering and become an engineer like him. I used to complete all the work after coming back from school and go to practice before my father comes.
One day he caught me coming from practice and was angry. He said that only studies will help me and not all this. He asked me to focus only on my studies.
However, my coach saw something special in me. He always supported me to become better.
After my first International win in Nepal, my father and family members started to see the potential in me and supported me. At that moment I felt proud of myself.
