When we were resting in our homes on Sunday afternoon, a charming smile faded away, a man full of life began his journey into the other world!

Bollywood & Tv Actor, Sushant Singh Rajput, 34 committed suicide on Sunday, June 14, in his Bandra house, Mumbai. What made such a graceful actor who won millions of hearts with his smile take such a drastic step? How could a man who was full of energy, a total of life, and positivity end his life?

Depression! This is what his prescriptions and files talk about. He was taking therapy for battling depression for the past six months.

From TV to Bollywood and every fan of Manav to Dhoni, everyone is shunned and shocked. The Bollywood industry was just recovering from the loss of stalwart actors, Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan, both of whom passed away in April when India had to see this tragic news flashing across their mobiles and TVs.

His fans and followers are grieving not just because they lost an actor with heartwarming smile and talent, but a human being who valued them.

When Kerala was devastated by floods in 2018, Sushant lent support to Kerala when one of his fans, Shubham Ranjan, commented on his Instagram page that he did not have enough money but wanted to help. In response, Sushant posted,

” I will donate 1 crore in your name. Make sure it reaches directly to our friends out there.”

Arya Suresh, who worked as a volunteer during floods, posted on his Instagram page asking for cleaning supplies. Sushant quickly made the arrangements for them.

His acts of kindness and love are what make him a HUMAN.

But sadly, when he needed this support, no one was there for him.

Looking back at the struggling and self-earned life of Sushant Singh Rajput, we still wish if we could set ourselves into a time machine to bring him back!

Success To Struggle: The Journey

When Sushant Singh was a young boy, he wanted to be an astronaut; later he wished to be an Airforce Pilot. But his parents wanted him to an engineer. He was genuinely interested in science. He earned AIR #7 rank in AIEEE in 2003. He had won National Olympiad in Physics and cleared 11 engineering exams.

He got admitted to Delhi College Of Engineering and opted for Mechanical Engineering. During college, he got interested in dancing. He rebelled his family for his dancing and joined Shyamak Dawar’s Group. Shyamak was impressed by Sushant’s dancing and gave him a chance.

He performed as Background Dancer in 51st Filmfare Awards in 2005.
He was a part of a troupe in Australia that performed in the cultural program in Commonwealth Games in 2006.

Shyamak was impressed by Sushant to this extent that they also added him in the Shyamak’s Potentials Batch, wherein they advised him to think about acting because of his stong and impressive skills.

After doing an acting course from Barry Johnson, he decided to pursue acting. He then dropped off engineering in the final year.

He then moved to Mumbai. He became part of the Ekjute Theatre Group. During this time, he became a known face with TV Advertisements for Nestle Munch. This advertisement became popular throughout the whole country.

In 2008, the casting team of Balaji Telefilms saw Sushant,s one of the Ekjute’s Theatre play and invited him for auditions. Later, Sushant was offered the role of Preet in Kis Desh Mein Hai Mera Dilhis debut TV Show.

In 2009, he got his big break with Manav of Zee’s Pavitra Rishta and won hearts with his heartwarming smile and acting.

In 2010, he participated in a TV dance reality show, Zara Nachke Dikha, and became the part of group Mast Kalandar Boys.

In late 2010, he participated in the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhlaja.

In 2011, he quit Pavitra Rishta to pursue a 2-year film making course abroad.

In 2013, he made entered the world of stardom and glamour with Abhishek Kumar’s Kai Po Che. The same year he bagged another rom-com movie Shudh Desi Romance.

In 2014, he became the part of another hit PK; played Anushka Sharma’s love interest, Sarfaraz in the movie.

Sushant did not want to fit himself into the box of a young boy doing rom-com movies. That is when in 2015, he bagged a thriller movie Detective Byomkesh Bakshy.

2016 was the year when Sushant received plaudit for his acting in Mahendra Dhoni’s biopic, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story.

In 2017, he played the role of a reincarnated lover in Raabta, opposite Kriti Sanon.

In 2018, he starred in Kedarnath with Sara Ali Khan.

In 2019, he gave one of the best movies in his career Sonichiriya. Chhichhore & Drive were his last two movies.

The Way To Achievements

Sushant Singh Rajput was honored with his First Television Award from the Big Entertainment Television for Pavitra Rishta in 2010. In the same year, he received ITA Award for the best actor-Desh Ka Sitara.

In 2014, he was nominated for Filmfare Best Debut Male Award for the movie Kai Po Che. He also received Best Male Debt by producers Guild Film Awards for the same movie.

Sushant Singh Rajput also won the nomination in the Filmfare Best Actor Award category for his movie – MS Dhoni: The Untold Story.

Story Of Struggle To Success

In 2013, he made his debut in Bollywood with Abhishek Kapoor’s Kai Po Che. His film Shudh Desi Romance was another acclaimed one, where he played the role of a young man allergic to marriage.

In 2014, he played love interest Anushka Sharma, Sarfaraz, in movie PK.

In 2015, he bagged a thriller movie, Detective Byomkesh Bakshi.

In 2016, he won praises for celestial performance as Mahendra Sing Dhoni in M.S.Dhoni.

In 2017, he played the role of a reincarnated lover in Raabta, opposite Kriti Sanon.

In  2018, he starred with Sara Khan in Kedarnath.

In 2019, he gave one of the best movies of his career Sonichiriya and Chhichhore. His film ‘Drive’ was aired on Netflix, Chhichhore, being the last movie.

A Budding Entrepreneur Faded Away

Sushant Singh Rajput, an actor, an astrophysicist, and a budding entrepreneur.Yes!He had so many layers, so many personalities. Falling deep into the celestial bodies, space, and the universe is what interested him a lot. His Instagram page is filled with pictures & captions talking about them. He was not one of those actors who would like to pose in each of his Instagram posts. But he shared his usings, his love for science and technologies.

When he did not work on any of his films, he spent time with telescope exploring the endless space. He even bought a piece of land on the far side of the moon, in a region called Sea Of Muscovy from the International Lunar Lands Registry.

His interests led him to explore the world of entrepreneurship too. He founded three companies.

The first company-Innasei Ventures was founded in 2018 & worked on movies, health & wellness, and artificial intelligence.

His second company was Vividrage Rhealityx, which includes the name of Rhea Chakraborty. The company was founded in 2019 & worked on technology in India & around the world.

His third company is a non-profit organization. This company was founded in 2020 and worked on poverty, malnutrition & promoting healthcare & sanitation.

There was so much left to be done, that is left undone. Sushant Singh Rajput, not just a rising superstar but also a budding entrepreneur with his passion and interests for astrophysics and technology, who believed in learning new things, spent time exploring the possibilities of space & learning coding, it is difficult to find such interest and fascination in any other Bollywood actor. His companies are the example of his beliefs and the wok he wanted to do for people.

Love Life: Pool Of Hardships

Sushant not only gained fame with Manav of Zee’s Pavtra Rishta but also he found his Archana, Ankita Lokhande, in the show. From reel to real life, Sushant and Ankita were in a serious relationship. But, not all love stories get a happily ever after ending, so did they. They broke up after 7 long years of relationship and parted ways.

After his breakup with Ankita, he had been linked with Kriti Sanon and Sara Khan as well. But, it came out as rumors, and nothing was ever confirmed. His last relationship was with Rhea Chakraborty. He wasn’t working with her on any film like the other actresses he was linked to. Rhea and Sushant dated for a while, though they did not come out publicly.

His family confirmed that he was set to get married a few months later, and his family was planning to visit Mumbai for the same. The name of the girl is still unrevealed.

A Life Where It All Began

Our mothers are the inspiration to do certain things in life. Sushant was extraordinarily emotional and attached to his mother. He lost his mother in 2002 due to brain hemorrhage. He was deeply affected by her mother’s loss. It was because of his mother’s wish that he moved to Delhi from Patna. Delhi is where his journey began from ‘A Boy Next Door’ to the ‘Bollywood’s Next SRK’

The actor who gave a strong message to fight depression with his movie became a target of depression himself. But, what is the story behind that depression?

There are many layers to his action. All we can think, overthink & grieve for the loss of the one who ruled our hearts from TV to Bollywood. There are very few who leave these footprints into the hearts of others, and Sushant Singh Rajput is one of them.

Today, everyone is talking about mental awareness and ways to battle depression to kind and to be empathetic to others.
