Do you still remember that time when our moms used to bake these luscious, chewy, chocolaty, chocolate chip cookies that we would brag about in our school and give to our friends and when the night would fall we would sneakily used to steal them from the cookie jar so she would not get up and start to scold us because they were so delicious not to finish it in one day? But the number of calories and sugar intake in that recipe was so much that it will definitely go beyond our now heath diet.

Fret not today, I am going to share the same chocolate chip cookies recipe with a twist to ensure that all the health benefit and amount of calorie is measured , yet it will still make you reminisce about your childhood and your good old days.

To make this healthy cookie recipes all you need

  • Recipe Ingredients
  1. Unsalted butter — 1/2 cup
  2. Refined sugar — 3/4 cup
  3. Brown Sugar — 2/4 cup
  4. Egg — 2
  5. Vanilla Essence — 1 tsp
  6. All-purpose flour — 1 ¹/⁴ cup
  7. Diced Chocolate — optional
  8. Walnuts — 1/4 cup
  9. Baking powder — 1/2 tsp
  10. Baking Soda — 1/2 tsp
  11. Salt — a pinch
  12. Chocolate chips — 3/4 cup
  13. Melted coconut oil — 4tsp

Take a large bowl and add your room temperature butter, melted coconut oil, brown sugar and your regular sugar and whisk it with the hand blender until it becomes soft and fluffy.

Then add your eggs one by one while whisking them and your vanilla essence into the mixture.

Then use a spatula to scrape all the sides and mix the wet ingredients well.

After this add All-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, chocolate chips, walnuts, and diced chocolate and combine all the ingredients.

Divide the cookie dough with the help of a cookie scoop into equal proportions, shape them into round balls and placed them on the baking tray lined with a baking sheet and pressed them down.

  11. Milk powder — 1 tsp
  12. Refined sugars — 1/2 cup
  13. Vanilla Essence —1 tsp
  14. Baking powder — 1/2 tsp

Take a large bowl and add all your rice flour, all-purpose flour, ragi flour, corn flour, wheat flour, whole oats, powdered oats, almond flour, milk powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt and mix it all with the help of a spatula and keep it aside.

Take another large bowl and add the room temperature unsalted butter, coconut oil and refined sugar and whisk it with the help of an electric hand blender until it becomes soft and fluffy.

Then add the milk proportionally until this becomes a bit less dense and add the vanilla essence into the mixture. Then use a spatula to scrape all the sides and mix the wet ingredients well.

After this transfer, all the dry ingredients in this bowl combine all the ingredients with the help of a hand beater and then knead the dough with your hand to create cookie dough.

If you want to feel that rich, crunchy texture then add dry chopped nuts or dried fruit like cranberries, blueberries it’s optional you can skip this part.

Divide the dough into equal proportions, with the help of a cookie scoop, shape them into round balls then press them flat and placed them on the baking tray lined with a baking sheet or parchment paper.

Preheat the oven to 180°C for 10 minutes and then place the tray filled with cookies into the oven and bake them at 180°C for 15 – 20 minutes in the middle rack and check that it has turned light brown.

Not only this, but oats are also best for your toddlers because of their naturally gluten free substance. Oats are rich with gum which provides a chewy, sticky texture. Oats are gluten-free and they nourish and strengthen your bones.

You can use this cookie as an alternative to your regular protein supplement powders and try to balance out the consumption. You can also prepare this cookie dough and use it whenever you have those cookie cravings

  3. Brown sugar — 100gm

  11. Gluten free flour /all-purpose flour — 250gm
  12. Oats — 100gm
  13. Raisin — optional

First, take your raisins and soak them in water for about 15 minutes until they become soft and round.

Then take a large bowl and add unsalted butter, regular salted butter, and brown sugar and blend it with the help of a hand beater. Beat until it becomes like crumbles, then add brown sugar and beat it until it becomes soft and fluffy. Scrape all the sides with the help of a spatula and give it a final beat.

Take another bowl and add all your dry ingredients gluten free/all-purpose flour, oats, baking powder, baking soda, salt, nutmeg powder, and cinnamon powder, and combine them all with the help of a spatula.

Now add this dry ingredient to your wet ingredients and beat them until the mixture becomes like crumble cookie dough.

Add your soak raisins after draining out the excess water in your cookie dough and knead it with your hand.

Divide the cookie dough with the help of a cookie scoop and press them down on the baking tray lined with a baking sheet.

Preheat your oven to 180°C for 10 minutes so you can obtain the chewy oatmeal cookies.

Then slide your baking tray into your oven and bake the cookies for about 10 – 15 minutes until the sides of the cookies turn into light brown colour.

  1. Unsalted butter — 100 gm
  2. Regular butter – 50 gm
  3. All-purpose flour — 1 ¹/⁴ cup
  4. Powdered sugar — 1/2 cup
  5. Vanilla Essence —1 tsp
  6. Baking powder — 1/2 tsp
  7. Salt — a pinch
  8. Egg – 2 egg yolks

Take a stand mixer and add your room temperature unsalted butter, regular butter, and powdered sugar and blend it until it takes the form of crumbs now add your egg yolks one by one and add vanilla essence into your mixture and blend it until it becomes soft and fluffy.

Now add the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt into the mixer and blend it until it transforms into cookie dough.

Knead the dough on the surface and let it cool in the refrigerator for a about an hour.

Take out the dough and roll it into cylinder form and cut the cookie dough into equal proportions, with the help of a knife and placed all the cookies on the baking tray lined with a baking sheet or greased the tray with butter.

Preheat the oven to 180°C for 10 minutes

And then place the tray filled with cookies into the oven and bake at 180°C for 15 – 20 minutes until the sides of the cookies have turned light brown.

After done remove the tray and let it cool completely on the cooling rack for some time.

Your butter cookies are ready to dive in with a cup of tea.

You can store them and eat them whenever you want maybe when you come back from your early run, or from gym, or after tiring day with endless work.

Of all the cookies in the world, this cookie is one of my favorites. My grandmom put this in my healthy cookie recipes list due to it benefits.

This sweet treat will make you wonder about winters because coconut flakes are stuck on it.

Coconut is highly nutritious as it is rich with fat, protein, vitamins and minerals. Coconut is rich with manganese which is essential for bone health. It consist of iron and copper, which help in developing red blood cells.

  • Recipe Ingredients
  1. Sweet Coconut flakes —250gm
  2. Unsalted butter —150gm
  3. Regular butter —20gm
  4. Regular sugar —100gm
  5. Light brown sugar —50gm
  6. Eggs —1
  7. Coconut oil — optional
  8. Coconut cream —optional
  9. White flour / All-purpose flour —240gm
  10. Salt — a pinch
  11. Corn starch —1 tsp
  12. Baking soda —1ysp
  13. Vanilla essence —1tsp
  • Recipe Instructions

Take a baking sheet and spread the coconut flakes on it and bake it for 10 minutes at 160°C check them and toss them after every 2 minutes.

Next, take a large bowl and add all the dry ingredients all purpose flour, salt, baking soda, and cornstarch, and mix it well with the help of spatula until all combined.

Now take your stand mixer or another bowl and add your room temperature unsalted butter, regular butter, regular sugar, and light brown sugar and blend it until it becomes soft and smooth.

Scrape all the sides and mix them thoroughly.

Add vanilla essence and a little coconut cream and oil to enhance the flavor of the coconut in the dough. Avoid using coconut essence.

Then add your egg, give it a final mix, and scrape all sides to blend it properly.

Add the dry ingredients and mix until combined, but not fully now add your toasted coconut to the cookie dough and combine it well.

Refrigerate the dough for about an hour.

Once done divide the dough in equal proportion with the help of a cookie scoop and roll them into round balls and place them on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Don’t flatten them

Preheat the oven for about 10 minutes at 180°C now pop your delicious cookie in the oven and bake them at 180°C for about 10-minute check the sides of the cookies, if they turned light brown which meant they are cooked.

Cool them completely and now your delicious healthy coconut cookies are ready to eat and store.

Enjoy it with some coconut milk or maple syrup.

6. Peanut Butter Cookies

Once set divide the coolie dough into equal proportion and roll them into round balls and place them on the baking tray lined with a baking sheet.

Preheat your oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes.

Put the tray filled with the delicious cookies into the oven and bake them for 10 minutes at 180 degrees until they become soft and light brown from the side.

Once cooked, take them out and let them cool on the wire rack for half an hour.

Then your peanut butter cookies are ready to eat and serve.

You can make them sandwiched by filling your favorite fillings like peanut butter, melted chocolate, marshmallow, and maple syrup.
