Are you intending to host a cocktail party and thinking of making it more colorful by augmenting very refreshing cocktails to jazz it up? Or presumably, it is summertime and you’re a cocktail enthusiast.

So let’s bring in the Old fashioned cocktail recipe. The world’s favorite, crowd-pleasing, classic old-fashioned cocktail. It was the first type of cocktail developed in the eighteenth century.

The old fashioned cocktail was made with whiskey, sugar, bitters, and lemon or orange peel to garnish. So the birth of old-fashioned goes like this, in the 1880s a man walk into a bar and asked the bartender for a drink in an old-fashioned way. the bartender makes this man a bittered slings and put it on the ice garnished with an orange twist with the essential oils of fruit. The Old-Fashioned is the true definition of a cocktail.

INGREDIENTS FOR OLD FASHIONED COCKTAIL RECIPE:-

  1. A big dense ice cube
  2. A white sugar cube or simple syrup
  3. 3-4 dashes of angostura bitters
  4. A small drop of soda water
  5. Bourbon or rye
  6. A lemon and an orange peel

METHOD:-

Grab your favorite lowball glass. Lay a sugar cube in the glass, and add about 3 to 4 dashes of angostura bitters to it. Accordingly, if you like you can use some drops of soda water so that it could get muddled effortlessly. For the hero ingredient either you could use bourbon or rye. The most traditional is bourbon and so I enjoy using bourbon.

For old-fashioned, you might wanna use an ice cube as big as feasible. Carve the corner of the large ice cube for delaying the melting of the ice and we can hold to our drink for longer. And meagerer down the ice cube with a spoon so that we don’t squirt it everywhere. don’t over stir the drink.

Now time for our favorite garnishing. traditionally old fashioned cocktail gets the rabbit ears to garnish, which is an orange and a lemon twist. press it down the peels so it expresses all the essential oils out from the twist. Plop it in the glass. Now it’s ready to serve. enjoy the divinely expressing, absolutely delicious drinks at home with your significant others.
