Here is a captivating conversation with Dikssha V Annand on her journey as a Life Coach with Icy Tales.
Q. How do you help your clients set and achieve their goals?
Dikssha V Annand: I work with a frame of mind that they already have the solution within them. We all have the solutions within us. The only thing we need to work on is the How. My services come into play when you are in the process of finding your How.
If you are not able to find your how consciously then there is a very deep how within you. I just help it surface it. A lot of work that I do involves the unconscious rearrangement of beliefs in your own lives. Beliefs are contributing to holding you, limiting you, that is your blind spots but you are not able to see yourself.
There is a feeling that you deserve this life, but will you be able to live it to the fullest? Will I be able to succeed? All your wills and hows are taken care of in life coaching. There is a saying in NLP which is NLP and Life Coaching take all your excuses, and when you don’t have your excuses, all you can do is take necessary actions and go ahead in life.
In the session itself, the client goes through a lot of deep insights about their own life how they chose their limitation in the first place, how they have the resources within themselves to overcome the challenges, and how they can sustain themselves in all areas of life.
If I make a change in one area of life, let’s say another area of a person’s life doesn’t want a change, no matter what I do, the whole effort will reverse.
Q. What is your inspiration and how do you feel driven towards your goals?
Dikssha V Annand: My inspiration is that the tools and knowledge that I possess, I have learned by spending lacs of rupees and I can charge lacs of rupees for it, but that’s not the point. If we keep helping the cream of India, then what about the middle-class people? Don’t they deserve proper guidance and tools? Don’t they deserve to make their life better? Don’t they deserve to make their lives effective?
My agenda was always to learn good knowledge from the best mentors around the world and use the knowledge to make people’s lives better, because when you help somebody, in return you help yourself too. That’s my passion to take it to every household in India and the world where people have a similar desire to get the knowledge and this experience, to get these procedures along with the support, best of professionals around the world and to make it reasonable lives.
Q. How did you learn to read tarot cards? And when did you discover you had this particular liking to discover it?
Dikssha V Annand : I am a very intuitive person. From my childhood, I used to sense a lot of things in a person. When I started telling my family members that the intuition things were spot on, I could see people coming back to me asking me for such guidance and insights, and then I was always searching for a specific tool, a specific medium to not only be there for people around me but to be open to a larger audience.
That is how I was waiting to get initiated like this. I am aware that in alternate healing, you cannot just get Udemy and get a course for tarot reading done and claim yourself a tarot reader. A proper initiation is required. In the ancient Indian wisdom, the knowledge was passed through initiation.
Initiation of a disciple, initiation of somebody into a field and the allowing them to take it forward to help others. I was waiting for the one guru when it came, it was through tarot. That’s how tarot came into my life.
Q. Tell us about an incident that taught you something you still hold on to as very valuable today.
Dikssha V Annand: I believe there was a point in my life, where I was making sense to a lot of people and I started boosting about the same. You get the high in your life where you think that oh my god! I have such magical powers. You start your everyday sentence with I, I am this, I am achieving that.
That was the time in my life when I felt that my reading was not making sense. The more energy I was putting into the therapy sessions, the more I was draining out and it was not producing the kind of results, it was producing without me putting the I in between.
Suddenly, One day I was sitting in silence, and it hit me that it was god’s work and I not doing that work, he just pointed me to do that work, and I couldn’t take the entire credit thing on myself. At that moment, something shifted my focus from I to the service. That is how I have kept that way. It’s not about me, it is about the individual, the client, and your country always.
Q. What is the most important thing or advice you want to give the audience?
Dikssha V Annand: Don’t get comfortable in your miseries. People these days are so comfortable saying I got panic attacks and I cheated on my partner. They don’t know the compound effect of these small things that will have on their lives in three years, in their lives. There is a way to reverse it naturally without any medications.
Seek out support from professional individuals with whom you intuitively feel a connection. Where you feel that there is a trust factor with the individual, go ahead and just put those things align, so that in your life there is always an alignment between your heart and brain and there is no mind-body split.
In life, there is no ppt slide, it’s only a movie and you are not in a space where your character is not playing at an optimal level, there are certain things that you should take responsibility for to change something in your life.
Q. Can you describe a case where you successfully used neuro-linguistic techniques to help a client overcome a specific language-related challenge or communication barrier?
Dikssha V Annand: I remember there was a client who got in touch with me. She was having a hard time dealing with a rough breakup in her life. She was telling about that she will never be able to love again and will never get a stable relationship.
I listened to her a couple of times, I called her and told her that every time you use sentences like these and everything that has happened in your life, you put a Yet after it. For example, I haven’t found a suitable partner yet so that your neurologist knows that you are still looking forward to it.
to look forward to it, there are certain things that you will experiment, with you will figure out to change. But you say that I don’t get an ideal partner with a full stop. You communicate to your neurology that either you don’t deserve it or you do not know how to find out, you are not willing to change it.
Q. If not a life coach, what do you think what profession you could be in at the moment?
Dikssha V Annand: If not a life coach, then I would be a painter because it helps me to alter.
